10 paracetamol in 24 hours?

Is this ok? Spaced 4 hours apart.

Following the steps here I get to step 4 and as you're saying you're struggling to get out of bed I would say you get an amber flag for functional ability which says urgent GP appt. Pulse of 110 on it's own scores you 2 on an early warning score without even doing your other obs like temp, bp, resps.

@NicoAndTheNiners I think I was exaggerating slightly when I said I couldn’t get out of bed. I am sitting on the sofa but just feeling really unwell.

Well your bp sounds ok from a sepsis point of view. Drink plenty of fluids. Can you see your GP tomorrow if still feeling crummy?

Ring 111 OP. Speak to a medical professional.

you know your body OP, you say you normally react like this with a cold. if its a virus it isnt going to be sepsis is it?

no more than 8 paracetamol over 24 hours, at least 4 hours apart.

You can take another dose safely at/after 11pm, but not before.

If you suffer from anxiety and panic the worst thing in the world to do is google or ask on these type of chats. There's all sorts of worrying replies here. As someone with previous health anxiety I demand you turn off the app and ring your community midwife or triage. Try the nhs number. Anything is better than asking here believe me it will send your anxiety through the roof. Try not to worry about the replies you have had and good luck xxxxx

OP- you haven’t overdosed even slightly then if you’ve had 4 doses of 1g in the last 24 hrs.

This is too important to be getting such confusing and conflicting advice. Call 111
