Just that really. Need a real big moan. This heat, current DC running me ragged, poor DH running round after everyone whilst I watch and thank my lucky stars he’s not a lazy F (ok that parts not a moan).

Anyone else in the same boat? Get this baby out of me!! Been cramping and irregularly contracting since last night, desperate for my waters to break and this show to get on the road..

I feel the same, am 39 weeks tomorrow with my first.
Been having contractions since Thursday that stop as soon as I go to bed and it's driving me insane!!!

heyheymymy · 10/07/2018 12:21

Star isn’t it just the worst when they stop Sad so demoralising!

Beehiveyourself · 10/07/2018 12:22

Not in the same boat but remember how hot I was when pregnant this time three years ago and that wasn’t anything as bad as this heat. So Flowers

0310Star · 10/07/2018 12:49

@heyheymymy it's so frustrating! I got woken up in so much pain about midnight last night, thought that the time had finally arrived, and then it stopped!! Gutted...

CrackerCrisp · 10/07/2018 12:51

Not now but I remember it well almost 4 years ago. With a toddler and waddling in the heat to the midwife. Will never forget it!

heyheymymy · 10/07/2018 18:27

Bee & Cracker yes I am sure this time won’t fade from my memory fast!! The sweat has been unreal, as well as the pity looks from fellow mums Biscuit Oh @Star that’s so rubbish Sad fingers crossed for you it happens soon! This babe is a scheduled csection for me so any early labour is still very welcome as they’ll just bring the section forward!

0310Star · 10/07/2018 22:57

I'm hoping tonight may be the night! Had a sweep about 7pm so currently on the ball watching love island, hoping gravity will do its thing Grin
I am 1cm so at least these stop/start contractions have been doing something. fingers crossed!

heyheymymy · 11/07/2018 05:01

Ooo that’s great news, no contractions for me although lots of hip ache and waking up randomly through the night.. anything happen for you last night?

OP posts:
BrutusMcDogface · 11/07/2018 05:13

I'm 39 weeks today and desperate to get this little one out. Sending solidarity to you all Flowers

0310Star · 11/07/2018 08:34

Disappointed to say I am still pregnant today lol lots of pressure 'down there' though so fingers crossed! Going for another sweep tomorrow if nothing happens though
So hopefully that one works.
Any signs for anyone else?

heyheymymy · 11/07/2018 11:56

Brutus Solidarity Flowers Feeling for you both as you are already ahead of where I’ll get to, I know my section will be booked week beginning the 23rd but not sure which date.. so just keep on praying labour kicks in and they’ll get baby out sooner Bear which is totally fine with me as I’m past 37weeks so that’s one full term bubs!

Woken up this morning with the SOREST hips legs and back, feels like I’m being pulled apart! Then proceeded to come downstairs and cry my eyes out. I’m not entirely sure why? Can anyone relate? How is everyone else doing- are any babies born yet? SmileFlowers

Hi, I can relate to this. I had my son at age 29 and don’t remember being this fed up 🙈 I’m 36 years old now... 33 + 2 weeks pregnant and I feel completely wiped out. I’ve got swelling, get headaches all the time, cry... a lot! I ache everywhere, have terrible nightmares and I’m just seriously pissed off! It’s a girl this time which is amazing, I’m honestly really chuffed and I know I’m lucky to be pregnant... I’m grateful I really am but the thought of feeling this shit for 7 more weeks is depressing! Did anyone find pregnancy with a girl harder? Or maybe pregnancy harder over 35 years of age? I suppose I just want a reason as to why I feel so crap! The heat definitely is not helping..... (I feel bad moaning this much as I know there’s people out there who would love to be in my position 😢) thanks xx

Gemc82 · 16/07/2018 07:09

Sorry just seen you’re all further on than me but you may be able to answer my questions xx

0310Star · 16/07/2018 08:01

@heyheymymy Still nothing this end, although I was woken up to lots of contractions this morning so one can only hope! Due date tomorrow, so il be pleased if it progresses today. Very uncomfortable yesterday!! So far I've tried: lots of walking, fresh pineapple, bouncing on the ball, sex, spicy food, 2 sweeps done now.... nothing!! Envy
Hopefully we both have babies this week! Waking up feeling crap has surely got to be a good sign lol

@Gemc82 my baby is a girl and this pregnancy has been far from easy, not sure if that's why though as this is my first! I can't say I've enjoyed really any of it to be honest, just been one thing after another! But just take it week by week, you're on the home stretch now x

Gemc82 · 16/07/2018 08:30

Some of my friends have said girls are harder! Pregnancy wise and as children 😂😂 I had no morning sickness or anything with my son. Apart from the nice bits of feeling him move and having a bump I didn’t have any other symptoms. So maybe it is girls! Little buggers 😂 xx thanks. I hope your daughter arrives soon 🤞

heyheymymy · 16/07/2018 09:50

Hey Gem! My girl was harder then my boys but that may have been because I had placenta previa and spent the entire second half of my pregnancy in hospital bleeding! Other than the bleeds her pregnancy I felt glowing and put on the least weight with, when I’m pregnant with boys I’m a big fat swollen sweaty emotional wreck!! Last baby this time for sure...

Gemc82 · 16/07/2018 11:41

Thanks 🙏 yeah to be fair I haven’t put on as much weight as I did with my son. I was huge with him! Just nackered this time! But then I’m nearly 7 years older so it’s probably that! I’m saying no more after this one too!!!! At the moment anyway.....

JadeM2902 · 16/07/2018 17:15

My god I no how you feel I'm 38 weeks had a sweep last week and now have constant back pain and this weather is making my feet like play-doh I'm so done hope your feeling better get yourself on birthing ball I live on mine! X

heyheymymy · 16/07/2018 22:42

@JadeM2902 snort laughed at play doh feet!! Completely agree! This heat is just unbareable. Someone make it end Cake

OP posts:
JadeM2902 · 16/07/2018 23:04

That's what my kids say mummy you got play-doh feet and poke them and they leave dents it's awful, can't wait for the weather to cool down or for my little bundle to arrive Smile

heyheymymy · 18/07/2018 11:26

Well my csection is looming coming up next week so I’m pretty sure this bubs ain’t budging! Was hoping I’d go into labour and they’d get him out sooner but hey ho! How is everyone else? Any babies made their debut?

OP posts:
JadeM2902 · 18/07/2018 13:46

Nothing this end 😩 got midwife tomorrow so hopefully will get some kind of indication where I'm at, I'm hoping to go into labour sooner rather than later only 12 days left feels like for ever!!! X

Hjkillas · 18/07/2018 15:46

37+3 had a sweep yesterday as I was 2cm dilated (still long) had a boat load of uncomfortable Braxton Hicks and a bloody show. But all seems a bit quieter today. 🙄

Feel like I should be crawling or bouncing on my ball but I'm shatter.. barely slept last night so I'm trying to nap here and there with my 4 year old wanting to play catch the whole time 😑

Just want my baby out so I can hold her and get this horrible labour out the way!!

quietly counts down the days

Tinks15 · 18/07/2018 16:21

Sorry for jumping on your thread op, I'm 38+1 & im utterly fed up also. This is DD2.

I have midwife tomorrow, just wondering whether anyone knows if you can request to have a sweep? Or do they only do it for medical reasons or if your overdue?
