Just that really. Need a real big moan. This heat, current DC running me ragged, poor DH running round after everyone whilst I watch and thank my lucky stars he’s not a lazy F (ok that parts not a moan).

Anyone else in the same boat? Get this baby out of me!! Been cramping and irregularly contracting since last night, desperate for my waters to break and this show to get on the road..

That will be helpful Jade! Even if only to manage expectations, fingers crossed she tells you you’re super effaced and like 2/3cm dilated!

Oh Hjkillas I feel your pain my 5yo has been a dream but the school run has been murder.. this heat! Thankfully my toddler still naps for a huge chunk in the afternoon so I just lay on the sofa and watch the new QueerEye series until she gets up

Hi Tinks! Snap I’m 38+1 too! Not sure on the sweep front as I’ve never had one but you can always ask!

Just wolfed down a spicy Indian big enough for two- I know it’s probably old wives tales but I love an Indian so can’t complain either way!!

Oh wow really, due date buddies hey! Hope things get moving for you soon. I might ask the question tomorrow see what she says.

Hey Galaxy, I suppose my only redeeming factor is he’s a csection- so no overdue nonsense for me, my last baby was a planned section too but ended up being an ‘emergency’ because my waters broke at 37weeks.. so not really an emergency thankfully but just had my section brought forward. Was kind of hoping that would happen again... but alas here we are!

My beautiful baby girl arrived today after an induction starting yesterday which ended in an emergency C section today!
It wasn't the most pleasant labour experience but I am so glad she's here now

Had midwife today - won't do sweep until 41 weeks, just suggested using my birth ball frequently & have sex.

I'm in the same boat. 37 weeks on Saturday. My contractions started when I was 32 weeks but thankfully stopped so he cooked a little longer, had the steroid injection just Incase. So I really didn't think I would make it to my due date, but as the days go on I'm beginning to think im going to go over. Been contracting irregular, loads of discharge. Just want him to come now

@Tinks shame she wouldn’t do the sweep! Total respect if you can stand the idea of sex this far along and in this heat- my poor dh has been left high and dry for quite some time now.. however I got my section date today and it’s tuesday! So let the countdown begin!

@Nad welcome! Oh wow isn’t it funny how that happens, my last baby was like that- hospital were waiting to take her from 24weeks but she was almost 38w by the time she finally showed! All for the best in the end even though our patience wears thin
