@Sophwalms - 1st one for me.. Found out a few weeks ago that I'm having a girl :)
Is this the first for you?

Al82 · 30/06/2018 23:00

I’m 24 weeks and this heat is just making me soooo sleepy!

Thegirlhasnoname · 01/07/2018 07:21

I’m due with my first on 27 October and have been suffering with this heat combined with a very kicky baby!

Peanut91 · 01/07/2018 07:26

I am 25 + 4 and really struggling in this heat. I think I am one of the few people who are wishing for it to cool down!

MaverickSnoopy · 01/07/2018 07:31

I'm 26 weeks and due at the beginning of October. Third baby. Not finding the heat too bad at the moment, although I get to the end of the day and definitely don't want to go outside. Spending most of my time indoors and if outside trying to keep my feet in the paddling pool as much as possible. Have kept loft hatch open during the day which cools the house down and pop hot water bottle in the freezer for a couple of hours for really hot nights. Drinking LOTS too.

Suffering very badly from both PGP and sciatica which is making things unbearable. Don't want to wish it away though because this is our last.

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 08:06

I'm 24 + 2 heats ok, feet are sore after walking a bit, very annoying. Very excited its first and it's a little boy :-)

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 08:08

@MaverickSnoopy did you find the 2nd baby you had was easier to deliver? My 1st was 4 days i was in labour with forceps and ventouse and im nervous it will be as long as the last as that was traumatic x

Has everyone sorted when they go on maternity leave? Xx

iLanny · 01/07/2018 08:26

I’m due October 7th so 26w today! It’s my first and we’re having a girl :)

The heat has been a nightmare for me, though I wasn’t very good at putting up with it pre-pregnancy either. It’s the swollen feet and hands that are bugging me these days.

Got my mat leave sorted to start at 35w. I’m always on my feet at work so figured this was the best time to start it.

Anyone else feel huge already? I know I’ve got a long way to go but I feel massive!

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 08:46

I go at 32 weeks as i have 4 weeks holiday to take before my maternity leave. I know i feel massive as i was really slim before i feel disgusting and also look horrible lol xx

25 weeks here and trying to enjoy the summer as much as possible but the heat certainly is getting a lot!
I've just been for a swim this morning which I find is helping to keep cool and relax. I was running regularly and still getting a good few 3 milers in a week but getting slower and slower as the weeks progress. How about you?

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 09:57

I try to go on walks when im not at work but the heat is a killer xx

24+3 here, due October 18th with 1st baby and we don't know the sex. Very excited!
Haven't struggled to much with the heat and we've just had a week away which was lovely. And luckily for me I'm still wearing my normal clothes for now but I think I'll be moving on to maternity clothes in the next couple of weeks. I'm still looking podgey rather than pregnant.
Have you all decided when you are finishing work for maternity?

Chrisbaby2018 · 01/07/2018 10:39

I'm hoping to work at least a week before due date, really hoping for longer with baby after the birth. Been trying to walk daily. Was also very slim and am not used to having this extra weight. Have a beaut of a belly thoughSmile

Anm4 · 01/07/2018 10:49

24 +5. Due 16th October x

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 13:40

Are you all enjoying being pregnancy? I have such an active baby can feel him all day and night my work will be cut out lol xx

Anm4 · 01/07/2018 14:02

This is baby number 4 for us so our older three are very excited, I'm having a relatively easy pregnancy this time but having pains in my tailbone quite often. Baby boy is very active. I'm just counting down the weeks to meet him as they said i tested positive for IUGR (growth restriction) so they have to monitor him more I'm hoping all stays well but its making me more nervous.. congrats to everyone x

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 14:51

I can imagine, i have anxiety any way so i get worried so easily but just trying to enjoy it as much as i can. Xx

Sophwalms · 01/07/2018 15:41
