Hello! :)

Read so many posts on here but this is my first one I've written! I know nobody can tell me I'm pregnant or not without a test, however..

I'm 25 & have never had a hangover or been sick from drinking & ive done the 18-30 holidays, the bottles of vodka at 18 & zero hangover or sickness just tired & hungry!

So Saturday I went out had maybe 7 pints of strongbow dark fruits (new favourite thing ever for the last two weeks) and the next morning OH MY GOD (worth noting I hadn't eaten for maybe 14 hours at this point) so was sick just bile over and over again, in the end up I ended up collapsing while out sat with first response for 40 minutes & in an ambulance (breathed in & didn't breathe out) obs done & refused advice of an A&E due to where we were, was on my own with 8 year old & would have no way of getting home. They said that was fine but kept me in the ambulance untill obs were better & I had eaten & drank (their last job of the day) they suggested I did a pregnancy test.

There was one time in May that I could have got pregnant around ovulation time. Last period was June 6th but was only three days & prior to this I did I feel off and noticed a few things that I thought could be pregnant symptoms but then I had my period so thought it was just that. Since then I don't think I could be pregnant as I predict I'm due to ovulate around now. Although did have unprotected sex on the 8th June. Could I be pregnant even after having a 3 day period? I know it's slim!

Has anybody else been really ill after a night out early pregnancy? I didn't think much of it (just that I'm clearly getting old haha) untill my friend said she had this experience really early on! Today I have also nearly been sick on a car journey (had motion sickness with my first pregnancy)

If your still reading, thankyou!!

I'm amazed the paramedic suggested pregnancy when it's bleeding obvious you were shit faced and hungover. 7 pints of chemically sweetened alcohol will do that to a person.

In my experience HCPs will suggest you take a pregnancy test (which isn't the same thing as them actually saying they think it's likely you're pregnant, just possible) for just about anything if you're of childbearing age. I swear I could go to my GP and say my arm had fallen off and she'd say 'have you taken a test to rule out pregnancy?'

So many angels on here lecturing her on units and sugar- it was a night out, what else do people expect??! Some people don’t enjoy a drink and others do, I doubt op was wandering around smashing shop windows and being a menace to society so leave her alone. I also doubt she does this every night. Oh and 25 is not ‘getting old’ Grin

Wow SO much judgement on here!! FWIW I was at a wedding when I was (unknowingly) about 2-3 weeks pregnant. I was very violently sick after not very much alcohol, a couple of proseccos and a couple of gins throughout the day and plenty of food and water. I do think your body just rejects it!!
Ps my username is a joke, I haven't got a drinking problem and haven't had a drop of alcohol since I found out I was pregnant in January!
