Everything looks good so far.
Feeling very happy right now.
Baby kept turning away from us so was hard to get a good picture. But he/she was kicking and turning like crazy. So amazing to see. Official due date they’ve given me is the 28th December. (My sisters birthday) So 1 day behind but All my other scans have measured to the 27th so in my head it’s still that.

@MagicalCreatures that’s amazing, so pleased for you. I love seeing all the scan pictures on here. Can’t wait for mine

Patienceofatoddler · 14/06/2018 12:32

Loving seeing all the scan pictures Smile

Those who have their Maternity exemption cards how long did they take to turn up?

Been nearly two weeks just abit surprised as previously always took less than a week.

Primrose16 · 14/06/2018 15:27

@MagicalCreatures congratulations lovely scan picture 😍
Good luck with scan @xLeanne128

Wellthisunexpected · 14/06/2018 16:23

Congratulations MagicalUnicorns.

I never got one last time patience, don't think I'll bother this time either-or I have a medical exemption certificate anyway. No idea where it is though as I've never had to show anyone! I just tick the box.

peachesarenom · 14/06/2018 16:42

I still haven't sent mine off. Really want it though. Teeth defo need fixing!

kaytees · 14/06/2018 17:12

Yayyy @MagicalCreatures I'm so pleased! These wriggly babies eh...What are you thinking re nub theory? I googled skull theory and based on that now think I'm having another boy.. who knows!

@Patienceofatoddler I need to send mine off, keep forgetting. I reckon with my first it took a good few weeks from memory, though.

maxiflump1 · 14/06/2018 18:38

Lovely pic @MagicalCreatures.

Hope your scan went ok @leanne9312

maxiflump1 · 14/06/2018 18:40

Sorry meant @xLeanne128

kocerhan3 · 14/06/2018 18:52

@Athers666 SO glad to see you on a pregnancy board after being with you on a mc/worry board earlier this year!! How ARE you?!?! I've found out we're due end of Jan!!!

Patienceofatoddler · 14/06/2018 18:54

@kaytees @Wellthisunexpected

Thanks :-) Mine was sent of at 7 weeks Blush

Sadly I've had more drugs than ever since being pregnant - now have a ear and sinus infection so on antibiotics and hayfever meds going forward to try avoid a repeat situation plus the thyroid ones Blush I've spent best part of £60 on prescriptions in a fortnight Sad

I actually emailed them and they gave me my 'certificate number' which was handy as it can take up to a month apparently.

I'm just nervous of ticking I am exempt without having it in 'my hands' as I have had letters for fines in the past when I used a different pharmacy or when the pharmacy just ticked 'exemption not seen' Angry

Primrose16 · 14/06/2018 19:33

@Patienceofatoddler fines 😱 wow that pharmacy is tight. With my daughter I was always forgetting my card. I actually got free dental care about a month and a bit ago at about 6 weeks without a card. Haven’t even sent off for mine yet

Athers666 · 14/06/2018 19:33

@kocerhan3 omg hi! Hugs Congratulations! Great to see you over here! I'm 13 weeks ish, due December, still can't believe it and I'm a ball of anxiety every day! So glad to hear your news though x

Athers666 · 14/06/2018 19:37

Got my Downs blood test result through in the post today, came back as low risk, one in 10,000 chance. However I'm so anxious since the spotting last week that we're going to fork out for a private scan as Im driving myself and DH mad with my worrying and it's making life a little bit miserable for us. But, I just need that reassurance.

Patienceofatoddler · 14/06/2018 20:22

@Primrose16 it's the NHS Business Authority not pharmacy who fine you.

Although in this case the pharmacy misspelled my surname.

You only need 1 thing to differ ie a typo on your name. So I always hand over the actual card.

It's the hassle of getting intention to fine you in post and then phoning up and proving your certificate information Blush

BabynameEdie · 14/06/2018 20:37

@Athers666 that's good news about the test results and totally hear you re forking out for a scan, don't feel bad, you need the reassurance you need! Just out of interest, when do you have the tests for Down's syndrome? I'm almost 8 weeks, have I missed something or is it a later test?

Athers666 · 14/06/2018 21:01

@babynameEdie Oh it was at the the 12 week scan, I had to sign a consent form and then they took the blood straight after the scan.

BabynameEdie · 14/06/2018 21:06

@Athers666 ok thank you! I haven't ever got this far so anything here onwards is new to me. Haven't even read up about it all yet, as don't quite believe it'll get to full term!
So great to have you all for your support and advice x

Cakelaur · 15/06/2018 08:25

@xLeanne128 hope all is ok babe.
@Athers666 great result for testing. I'm like you a ball of nerves. Plus my sickness is starting to ease which is great, but now I'm a little worried that I don't have many symptoms at times.

I'm not sure I'll ever fully relax. But my Doppler does help. Only because once I week we get to hear the bump. And that's always a treat. Dunno how were supposed to make it to 20 weeks with no scan! Just hope I start to feel something soon. Nearly 14 weeks!! Eek!

@Cakelaur where did you buy your doppler from if you don't mind me asking? Am considering it, I'm aware of the controversy over them but it's so tempting to have that chance to hear the heartbeat.

Wellthisunexpected · 15/06/2018 09:43

Hello everyone. Nice to see people are doing well, glad your nausea is subsiding cake.

I just feel sick all day, almost constantly. It's horrible. Thankfully I'm not actually being sick though.

Cakelaur · 15/06/2018 11:56

@Wellthisunexpected the nausea is what gets me the worst! The actual vomiting doesn't bother me! Haha.

@Athers666 I got this one. £25 off eBay and it arrived pretty much the next day. I love it. Best purchase so far.

Having a wobble today, feeling silly because in my heart of hearts I know it's nothing serious! Had some pain and discomfort along one of my sides, along with milky white discharge for the first time this pregnancy, and hip pain. Doctors appointment on Monday so just trying to keep myself calm until then!

Beck1988 · 15/06/2018 14:34

Had my scan this morning measuring 13 weeks today! All was ok 👌. But now I have pinky red spotting! I no it can happen after scanning I remember getting it with my 1st child although I think it was just brown then? Trying not to think to much about it but there always seems to be something bringing you back down! Don't think I will ever really be at ease this pregnancy after having mc now! Bring on Dec 21st!!! Xxx

Beck1988 · 15/06/2018 14:36

13 weeks today! X
