I have no idea about it to be honest but I think girl x

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 11/06/2018 20:59

I can't see what is clearly a nub (I'm not the best at finding them though!) but something in one of your photos could be the nub and if it is, I'm saying a girl cake.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 11/06/2018 20:59

Congrats @clairehr!

MagicalCreatures · 11/06/2018 21:02

@Cakelaur. I’m saying girl too x

Wellthisunexpected · 11/06/2018 21:53

Lovely scan picture cakelaur I'm guessing girl, but I'm crap at nub theory.

BabynameEdie · 11/06/2018 22:04

@hayleyfx yes totally relate to the being starving but can't eat!! Just force something down, it has really helped my nausea - it seems to be much worse on an empty tummy.
@Cakelaur and @MagicalCreatures what beautiful scans! So so happy for you guys! ❤️❤️

BabynameEdie · 11/06/2018 22:06

@clairehr congrats! And don't worry, if possible, I had absolutely no symptoms at 4-6 weeks then suddenly at 6 weeks BAM came the nausea! It comes and goes now but currently my main issue is rhinitis and a very sore runny nose! So bizarre. I hope this gives you reassurance, no symptoms at 4 weeks is totally ok. Are you able to have an early scan for reassurance?

peachesarenom · 11/06/2018 22:19

How lovely MagicalCreatures!!!

clairehr · 12/06/2018 06:17

@BabynameEdie Phew! Glad at least someone else has experienced it this way, gives me hope! Woke up today not feeling pregnant, did a digital test just to see the words in black and white!

I'm yet to get to speak to my GP or midwife, first appointment I could get with GP is Monday so planning on bombarding him with what I'm able and not able to do. An early scan would be magic for reassurance!

hayleyfx · 12/06/2018 09:23

@BabynameEdie yeah definitely feel less sick when my stomach isn’t empty. So hard though, just looking at food now is making me gag! 🤦‍♀️

BabynameEdie · 12/06/2018 09:29

@hayleyfx I know, and I'm a chef 🤢😢

hayleyfx · 12/06/2018 09:58

@BabynameEdie oh no, I don’t know how you’re coping! 🤢

@Cakelaur thanks! Yeah it’s not pleasant but definitely reassuring. Hoping it’s a good sign 🤞

leanne9312 · 12/06/2018 11:09

@BabynameEdie I'm a chef too it's hard going when your pregnant !!! Wish I had a different job now lol

maxiflump1 · 12/06/2018 13:48

Urgh. So DS (3) has been poorly for s few days. This Morning he woke up from a nap, walked over to me then projectile vomited all over himself, me the sofa and the dog! This triggered my nausea and I started urging. The dog then starts trying to lick it all up Envy. Luckily DH is working from home today so I shouted for him who valiantly cleaned up all the vomit and the dog whilst I stripped DS and put us both in the shower. We then both had a nap to recover! The joys of pregnancy with a toddler!

Wellthisunexpected · 12/06/2018 14:02

Oh maxi that's awful. Really hoping my DS doesn't catch anything, I'm already feeling guilty about the amount of TV I'm letting him watch as I'm so exhausted.

I'm ravenous. Last pregnancy I lost loads of weight in my first trimester, don't think I will this time!

Felt really sick all of yesterday but today feel fine, so naturally really worried now! The sensible part of me knows that symptoms come and go though!

Patienceofatoddler · 12/06/2018 15:05

Ahh @maxiflump1 that's horrendous.

We had a D and V bug courtesy of a weekend at Center Parks a few weeks ago (Wknd I found out I was pregnant Confused) and courtesy of 22 month old and 3.5 year old I got it.

There's nothing worse - Hope your little one is feeling very much better soon.

Alicejj8x · 12/06/2018 15:51

Hello everyone I hope it's ok for me
To join.

I have just found out yesterday I am pregnant :)
We've had 2 MC -
1 in 2016
1 in 2018 ( March/ April ) fell pregnant pretty quickly which I'm excited about.

I do have Pcos so am on metformin since 2017.

Praying I won't Mc again as I don't think I can go through it all over.

Anyone have any advice on what I can do/ ask for ?..

I am
Under fertility clinic & they have booked me in for early scan 27th June. Last pregnancy in Feb I had early scans every 2 weeks.

Thank you in advance

Cakelaur · 12/06/2018 16:17

Welcome @Alicejj8x not much I can say to reassure you, except each week it does get a little easier. I've been lucky enough to be able to only go in for mornings at work, which has helped because I've been able to relax each afternoon. That's great that you have scans every two weeks but of course under horrible circumstances. Sorry for your losses. I had one loss at 8weeks in Jan, and I'm now 13weeks. I had scans every two weeks up until 12 weeks, I'm now trying to relax a little I have a Doppler that I use occasionally at home which gives me reassurance but also makes me feel closer to baby. I'm finally starting to believe this bub may actually be in my arms at Christmas! When are you due?

@maxiflump1 that's sounds awful! How lucky your OH was there to help and glad you got some rest! Hope you all feel better soon.

@Wellthisunexpected Totally relate to exhaustion!! I get out of bed, go to work for a couple of hours, then come home and sleep all afternoon. I'm not managing to keep much down but I'm starving all the time.

@Patienceofatoddler what's D&V bug?! We're heading to centre Parcs for a long weekend in July... sometime I should avoid? I was excited to be able to wallow in the subtropical pool!! Haha

Patienceofatoddler · 12/06/2018 16:22

@maxiflump1 diarrhoea and vomiting bug ConfusedSad

I think it's always a risk on holidays when so many people are in a small area esp with Pools at Center Parks.

Our 22 month old fell ill on the 2nd night - We were just really unlucky - or lucky that we got home before the rest of us fell like flies with it Blush

Alicejj8x · 12/06/2018 16:34

@Cakelaur Thank you :)

Oh that's alright yeah I don't blame you. I work full time as a nanny so this could prove difficult lol!!
So sorry for your loss also! Congrats on your new pregnancy :) I completely understand it must be so worrying and is so worrying even when
You get past 12 weeks isn't it. But good thoughts go out to you :)

Ah yes that's a lovely idea :)
It will be Hun! Positive thoughts :) how exciting
To know it's going
To be here for Xmas!
So I reckon maybe end of jan/ feb time? When I go for my scan in 2 weeks Ill try see how far I actually am

I did a clear blue today and it said 1-2 so am
I right in thinking that's actually 2-3? X

Cakelaur · 12/06/2018 16:47

Oh Maaaaan!! @Patienceofatoddler sounds horrendous!! Poor you!

@Alicejj8x eek how exciting! If it says 1-2 weeks you're between 3-4weeks. When was your last period?

OP posts:
Alicejj8x · 12/06/2018 17:06

@Cakelaur
My last period was the 8th may but where I had Pcos my cycles are so long I usually have a period every 3 Months but since metformin they have been abit more regular x

Athers666 · 12/06/2018 20:35

Is anyone else around the 13 week mark feeling horribly bloated and uncomfortable? I feel like I'm going to explode. Making me so miserable!

Jane11e · 12/06/2018 20:58

Just jumping in!

Also ridiculously uncomfortable due to bloating! 14w6d. Any ideas when it ends?!

Maggi85 · 12/06/2018 22:54

Scan done today 12+5 all looks good and we had a wriggler x thinking of buying a Doppler as had a mmc at 16 weeks - which was only picked up when I went for midwife appt and she couldn’t find the heartbeat then sent for scan and no hb confirmed - so I just want to check things are ok but don’t know if it will make things worse...advice please xx
