Here we go ladies...

Had an early reassurance scan today at 7w 1d.

I was so nervous that I almost had a panic attack in the waiting room, but lil peanut is healthy with a strong heartbeat, measuring right on time for dates!

Well I got the Down's syndrome results today which were low (but not as low as previous pregnancies).

But also a letter saying they noted a low hormone level (but didn't say which hormone ) which is linked to having a small baby and my consultant is aware so will discuss next week.

As a result extra growth scans have been booked in.

Feeling abit whacked with it all today tbh - that's my third reason for being under consultant care which is a new achievement for me.

Feeling exhausted with this heat and had a headache for a few days now.. quiet weekend needed I think - But it's only Tuesday.

Thank you all so much for the support, it means a lot to me ❤️ I’m being referred immediately to Aberdeen hospital and will hopefully have an appointment by next week. They were most concerned about Spina Bifida so I’m feeling scared but have to stay positive. My OH has been so amazing and is keeping me strong. Times like this I realise how much I really do love him ❤️ I hope by some miracle it isn’t too serious and bub will be okay, fingers crossed. Thanks again for all the support lovely ladies x

@CobaltRose congrats on the lovely scan. Great news.

@Patienceofatoddler don't worry too much about a slightly lower score on the downs test. Apparently with every year you get older the numbers go down a bit. And hopefully the consultant can figure out the hormonal deficiency and maybe there's an easy fix.

@hayleyfx babe I'm so sorry little bub is giving you worry. Is there any chance baby was just in a funny position or something. (I know they're the experts) hopefully being referred can get you some answers. And hopefully it's something minor that either will right itself with time/turn out to be nothing or is treatable. Sending massive hugs and squeezes. Keep us posted with how you get on. Xx

Feeling ok so far today am 10 weeks so is this the time when symptoms can start to ease off abit.

I just worry so much had last scan a week ago today and everything was perfect. Just worry As I'm having one of those I don't feel pregnant type of days lol even thou I had nausea yday

@Cakelaur bub was in an awkward position, I had to keep shaking my hips and get him moving, he’d bounce about for a minute then go back to the same position so they couldn’t get measurements. They did seem really concerned though which has freaked me out but trying to cling onto some hope. Thank you 💕

I have an appointment at 12:15pm Aberdeen maternity hospital so will be an early morning for me. So nervous. Preparing myself for the worst to make the bad news a bit easier to deal with. Just can’t imagine saying goodbye to my baby 😔

Oh @hayleyfx hopefully tomorrow will have more clarity. Defo easier to start preparing for the worst, but you never know might have just been a naughty little bub. I have everything crossed for you hun. And couldn't imagine being where you are right now. As if having had an mmc isn't enough, now having to worry about this little bean. But you never know... might not be as bad as you think. And I think all you can do is discuss with your other half and lean on each other and family (and of course us) in this horrible time. Xx
