Here we go ladies...

I will be 16 weeks tomoro and have felt a few flutters this week! Defo getting stronger and more frequent especially when I'm lying still. Hope everyone's feeling ok! 4 weeks to find out if it's pink or blue!? X

@RedRobin7 I’m exactly the same, I’m 7+1 and don’t feel pregnant at all. I’ve got a couple of slight symptoms but don’t have a ‘feeling’ of being pregnant at all which I’m sure I did with ds but maybe that was later on (or maybe I’m imagining it!?) Got my scan tomorrow and I’m convinced they’ll either say there’s nothing there or will tell me bean is measuring small again (last time at my 8 wk scan bean measured 6+2 and all the Drs said it was fine but when I mc at 10wks bean only measured 6+5 so it obviously wasn’t fine)
Has anyone else had a scan at 7wks? Can they see a heartbeat this early?

@rdm10 I had a scan at 7 weeks and we saw the heartbeat, it was lovely. I hope tomorrow goes perfectly for you, I have my 9 week scan tomorrow and I’m so nervous! 🤞

OMG Beck1988 how can you be sure they are flutters? What do they feel like exactly?

@lolacola13 praying that the second blood test is a good number for you. 21 is reasonable for the day your period is due, just needs to keep going up.

@HidCat thanks hun I'm not feeling v optimistic though , my tests aren't that much darker . One I did this morning was slightly lighter than the one I done yesterday at dinner time. Don't know how that works 😕. how r u feeling?

@peachesarenom I remember the feeling from my 1st. It's like little butterflies in ur stomach flying round, is this ur first? It took a while for me to really be sure on my first pregnancy. X

Beck1988 yes this is my first! I really want to feel a big kick!

@rdm10 Wishing you all the luck in the world for you scan. I know just how anxious you are feeling. My 8 week scan last time was a similar situation to yours. I had a MMC and found out at my 12 week scan so having scans is a scary time. Hopefully we are just lucky ones this time not feeling any symptoms and everything will be okay. Fingers crossed for you. Let us know how you get on 🤞 x

Midwife called me yesterday to arrange my booking appointment, so have that on Tuesday. My other half can't come as he'll be smack damn in the middle of a meeting, so feeling a little nervous about going on my own, but so pleased I've got this far!

Can someone tell me what they go through in booking appointments? Would like to be prepared (control freak!).

@lolacola13 I'm ok, stuck between relief, excitement fear and paranoia but seeing the midwife at 10am so will have a good chat with her then.

@clairehr it's normally stuff like medical history, blood pressure, urine test, blood tests, weight and general stuff like that. I think you get a copy of your notes as well. Good luck!

@lolacola13 good luck on bloods! It could be that you had more concentrated wee last night. When I was testing at the beginning. I made sure I did the same test at the same time of day to get a good comparison. 🤞🏻

@rdm10 good luck for scan. I had a 6 weeks scan and saw heartbeat, so you should get to see at 7. 🤞🏻

@peachesarenom and @Beck1988 I'm dying to feel something. I THINK I felt something last night but then I focus in on it and it's like I imagined it!! Haha

@clairehr booking appointment is kinda boring (a great milestone) but they just go through you, your partner, how many pregnancies, medical history, urine sample, blood test, worries, health, weight, height, due date etc. It took about an hour. But it was one step closer to a successful pregnancy for me. So in that respect it was great.

I to also wake up not feeling
Preg some days and then other days the symptoms are there. Nausea has been awol now since Wednesday so
That worries me

You should be able to see heart beat yes as I saw our heartbeat for baby last Wednesday and they said I was looking about 5ish weeks

@clairehr I've just left my booking appt. it's basically paper work. She took blood, urine sample, blood pressure, height and weight for bmi, estimates due date - mine is 24th Feb :)

I chose where I want to deliver and got a huge info pack about all things from exercise to diet to concerns.

I asked if I should be worried about having no symptoms and she said nope, I'm just one of the lucky ones.

Feel way better for doing it all. Should have a date for my dating scan within 10 days 😁

Ah thank you ladies, I much prefer being prepared! Just got to wait for Tuesday to come round now, and try and explain to work why I'll be put for so long at a doctor's appointment! Haha!

@clairehr docs always run late - should be an adequate excuse lol. If I get into mine within 20 mins of my appointment time it's a bloody miracle!

Ahh that's so reassuring to hear she said it wasn't a worry about lack of symptoms. I have had nausea and tiredness and sore boobs but the last 2 days I feel fine

All done. Saw a heartbeat which was lovely. Bean is measuring 5 days behind where I should be but consultant said that was fine (although it’s still worried me because of last time) Got another scam in 2 wks to check things are growing.

@rdm10 Have been refreshing the page to check if you've updated. That's great news there's a heartbeat! I understand you're still anxious that your dates don't match but 5 days aren't that much. Hopefully there will be a clear growth at the next scan.

Was this a private scan or with the EPU? I've still got to wait 18 days for my 8+5 scan. We are paying privately so after that I'll have to wait until my 12 week scan!

It's reassured me that you don't have symptoms but there's a heart beating in there ❤️ Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞

@lolacola13 it was good. I've got all my notes and had a good chat about my fears after the MC and she was lovely. She said I wouldn't get an early scan without cause but recommended a private scan place that is popular. Got my next appointment in 4 weeks.

Such a pain you have to wait! Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll call you by the end of today.

@rdm10 so glad you got to see the little one. I'm sure everything is fine with growth, it happens a lot from what I gather.

Have had quite bad pelvic pain today when walking so rang midwife who said it sounded like the start of SPD ☹ told me to take paracetamol and go home and rest. Now-it occurs to me that the last few days I've started to feel some flutters, now none today ☹
It's so hard being pregnant! It's just the biggest worry. I feel like all I do is worry and cry! The scans are the only time I feel reassured!
