@maxiflump1 Thanks for the info. I'll probably not get to hear the heartbeat I guess. The reason I'm so worried is because I had spotting at 12 and a bit weeks, but they didn't scan me or even examine me so I feel like I'm in limbo. I just have no idea if the little one is alright in there. It's making me so miserable and anxious. My next scan isn't until the 1st of August! X

@Athers666 it's so tough isn't it! You think the anxiety stops at 12 weeks but no! Having said what I did in he previous post I've just been speaking to my workmate who is pregnant but lives in a different trust area and she's heard the heartbeat at every appointment from 16 week on!! So think it's a bit of a lottery where you live tbh! Fingers crossed all goes ok today for you

Does sound like a lottery! I certainly will never be a winner, lol. The appointment is tomorrow afternoon, will update afterwards.

I moved recently so just met my new community midwife, she really has got my confidence, I feel loads better. She's gonna book me another scan due to the ongoing bleeding.

Does anyone else have a sicky lump in the back of their throat?

I had this earlier and was sick but I'm not sure if it's down to morning sickness as I don't exactly feel sick but it's just there
Google said it could be heart burn or reflux?

@Alicejj8x no lump in the throat but currently feel like someone has their knee in the base of my spine 😫

@Murderino oh no really :( that must be so painful.

I am on a record today been sick twice!! This is new for me lol

@HidCat jelly is by the far the best thing I’ve thrown up haha! (So gross sorry) also ice lollies and bananas. They’re all gentle and don’t hurt. If you think you’re going to be sick though don’t eat anything strong flavoured - like smoky bacon crisps. I did and it wasn’t a pleasant experience haha 🤢

My OH has now agreed to another scan so will be either this week or next, I’ll be 9-10 weeks. I feel sick and nervous just thinking about it again! I hope bub is still okay in there 🤞

@Alicejj8x I have exactly that, it's there just before I get the strongest wave of nausea and then stays for a few hours before going and returning at the next wave.

Oh good hayleyfx if they see a heartbeat at 9 weeks, miscarriage risk goes down to 2.5%

@Alicejj8x Yep, it's a weird feeling, almost like some food is stuck at the top of your throat. I'm taking it all as a good sign though!

Had reassurance scan today, baby has nearly tripled in size in 8 days, measuring two days over estimated size, and heart beat is a healthy 151bpm. SO MUCH LOVE right now!

That’s my scan booked for Friday 4.40pm. Terrified just thinking about it 😬

Thanks ladies! I should be 9+3 when I have the scan. Feel just as nervous as I did going for my 7 week scan! So scared but fingers crossed 🤞

@Athers666 I had my 16 week appointment last week and she found heartbeat with Doppler! Really does depend where you are! She said after 16 weeks I can just drop her a message if I want extra dopplers in between scans! Speaking of which I have a scan tomorrow and am worrying so much about it!

Sorry to keep asking questions, does anyone else keep getting nose bleeds? I'm on aspirin everyday too which has thinned my blood 😊

So jealous of everyone having scans etc. Need to ring the midwife at some point but I'm still too scared to do it. Going to do a digi at the end of the week and that should settle my nerves I think.

@HidCat I know - I'm desperate for a scan haha booking appointment is on Friday and I think that should keep me satisfied for a while.

@leanne9312 I had one nosebleed about the time of bfp but none since, not sure it was related but very unusual for me.

Ok thankyou worrying a bit. Waiting to be scanned now so nervous enough 😱😱😱
