@peachesaenom So glad to hear the scan was all good, hope the blood stops soon too x

Cakelaur · 01/07/2018 23:18

@peachesarenom so glad the scan went well. Baby is obviously Just being naughty. Mine was a little more than spotting. But only lasted about 24hours each time. But everyone is different. Sending hugs. Hope you're ok.

@Alicejj8x I'm actually loving the heat until it comes to bed time, then it's just too stuffy!

Just six weeks now and convinced I'm on the cusp of a vomit-a-thon. No other symptoms than feeling super tired and sore boobs and extreme emotion so far - crying at everything!

A guy burped somewhere in our street on Saturday - it was so loud I heard it at least 4 doors down in the garden and I couldn't stop laughing - then I was crying because I found it so funny. Was going for a good 20 mins! Then cried my eyes out at the drag race finale- it's a rollercoaster!

Alicejj8x · 02/07/2018 12:08

Arrghh i just poas just to check lol and the control line is now darker than the test line I'll include a pic but is this bad?!

Freaking out slightly

Roasted peanuts don’t help with nausea

Cakelaur · 02/07/2018 15:00

Morning everyone!!! 16 weeks today!! Massive milestone for me!! Bump starting to show. Still no movement and horrible case of morning sickness this morning. Haven't had it for a week or so!! The heat is lovely to enjoy but not ideal to work in! I keep feeling faint! Can't eat enough sugar at the mo. I cut all sugar before my bfp and now I'm having to add it in. Haha.

How's everyone else doing??

Alicejj8x I think that is the hook effect, nothing to worry about.

My DH is really pissing me off.

I was doing well at taking it day by day but now I think OMG 6 more months! - with no guarantee of a take home baby!

kaytees · 02/07/2018 16:52

@peachesarenom glad scan showed all was fine - how are you doing now?

@Cakelaur you look gorgeous! What a neat little bump. I hear you on the sugar - I blame the heat. I have eaten a chocolate crossaint and almond pretzel today as snacks... send help.

I am definitely showing a lot earlier this time round, and more exciting I am pretty sure I can feel regular movement in the last week or so. Didn't feel anything til around 18 weeks with my son, so it's earlier this time at 14.

Alicejj8x · 02/07/2018 17:00

@peachesarenom I think your right.
As I did the experiment of the hook effect and this is the results

@Cakelaur what a neat and cute bump. I just feel like a fat lump round my middle rather than a neat bump haha. I can't wait to feel movement, must feel good @kaytees. I think I might have a couple of times but not enough to be sure! Scan in 2 days and I flip between anxiety and excitement by the minute!

Murderino · 03/07/2018 06:59

I'm stressing today. No sleep all night, tmi alert but after pooing had pink cm and I already had a bad back so been fearing the worst.

Cm this morning was light brown but not back to normal I think. I have cervical ectropion and this would happen occasionally when I wasn't pg but it's making me worry now. Everything I read says don't worry but it's difficult not to 😞

peachesarenom · 03/07/2018 07:24

Oh good do you feel reassured Alicejj8x? I would stop testing now.

It's so difficult not to be consumed with worry isn't it Murderino! But if it used to happen before I really wouldn't worry.

clairehr · 03/07/2018 07:36

@Cakelaur Lovely bump 😊 how's the weaning off of progesterone cream going?

@murderino It's horrible to feel so anxious all the time. I'm sure if it used to happen then this is normal. I hope it stops for you soon.

HidCat · 03/07/2018 07:46

Morning ladies, cautiously place marking as had a bfp this morning. Only 11dpo though so could still go either way. Eek!

Murderino · 03/07/2018 07:57

Yey @HidCat - welcome to the cautiously excited train! Congratulations x

Murderino · 03/07/2018 07:58

@clairehr @peachesarenom thank you - calling maternity unit this morning just to stop my head from spinning off. 🤞🏻

hayleyfx · 03/07/2018 08:01

@HidCat so nice to see you here! I hope it all works out for you 🤞

I’m 9 weeks today. My diet is very plain right now as I’m vomiting quite a lot, choosing foods that are less gross to come back up 🤣

hayleyfx · 03/07/2018 08:02

@Murderino it’s so hard being worried about every little thing! I hope all is totally fine with bub. I’m sure it will be x

HidCat · 03/07/2018 08:10

Thanks for the welcome ladies! @hayleyfx I bet you never thought you'd be able to say that 😂 out of curiosity, does anything taste ok on the way back up?

Athers666 · 03/07/2018 08:37

@Hidcat welcome! Many congratulations x x x

Alicejj8x · 03/07/2018 08:39

@peachesarenom
Yeah I guess I do but it's just so worrying isn't it. Yes I think I will stop testing for sure as it could of been like that at my last scan and everything was ok so I guess just got to think positive x

Athers666 · 03/07/2018 08:42

I have my midwife appointment tomorrow! I'm around 16 weeks. Does anybody know, will she use the doppler to check baby? Or is that not done at all clinics? I'm so nervous.

peachesarenom · 03/07/2018 08:43

Congrats HidCat!

maxiflump1 · 03/07/2018 10:30

Welcome @HidCat great to see you here.

@Athers666 our trust don't do any Doppler tests anymore at any point during your pregnancy as they say they are not reliable. I'm my first pregnancy I found the midwife appointments very underwhelming: just take you blood pressure, weigh you, take urine and blood and that's it. Hope yours goes ok x
