Due today but worried about gender being wrong

These pictures are 28w, 32w and 33w. I can't stop myself from thinking baby is gonna pop out the opposite gender as I've read so many stories of bits being hidden at scans!!

Does anyone think there's any chance this could go the other way??

looks like a girl to me, I can see 3 lines.

pastabest · 19/05/2018 16:35

Why is it a worry?

Which sex have you been told it is?

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 19/05/2018 16:37

So can I see 3 lines. Always ask the sonographer how sure they are. With DS2, she said, "There's a definite scrotum"! 😂😂😂😂😂

Frenchiemamax · 19/05/2018 16:39

What have you been told the sex is?

BrutusMcDogface · 19/05/2018 16:42

Looks like a girl to me.

BUT WHAT THE FUCK DOES IT MATTER?!

ALY44 · 19/05/2018 16:42

Been told girl just seen so many stories of "girls bits" turning out to be scrotum with a willy hiding Blush

There isn’t a wrong gender surely??? Grin

Greenglassteacup · 19/05/2018 16:43

Hope you have a healthy baby OP. That’s the important stuff

BrutusMcDogface · 19/05/2018 16:44

Have you posted before, op?

GetAwayFromHer · 19/05/2018 16:44

Can't make head nor tail of it Grin

But it's sex; not gender

PurpleTraitor · 19/05/2018 16:44

It’s really odd to ask people to look at pictures of your baby’s genitals on the internet. I hope your baby is happy and healthy when he/she joins you.

GetAwayFromHer · 19/05/2018 16:46

purple

Please! It's 'bits', not nasty genitalia Wink

WinkysTeatowel · 19/05/2018 16:49

Seems unlikely that they would have got it wrong in 3 different scans... I wouldn't worry

ALY44 · 19/05/2018 16:49

Ok should've probably asked for reasonable responses only

GlitteryFluff · 19/05/2018 16:51

Definitely 3 lines - very clear - so baby girl.

Wolfiefan · 19/05/2018 16:51

It is reasonable to wonder how your baby can be the "wrong" sex. Do you mean you think the somographer is wrong? The trained professional. Or do you mean you only want a child of one particular sex?

Frenchiemamax · 19/05/2018 16:51

I see why you could be nervous OP but I’m sure everything will be ok. Wishing you a smooth delivery!

Dermymc · 19/05/2018 16:53

Why does it matter?

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 19/05/2018 16:53

Why is it a problem if it’s a boy? Confused why would that worry you? Do boys in your family carry a genetic condition that girls don’t?

PotteringAlong · 19/05/2018 16:55

If you were going to ask and then stress that it’s wrong you would have been better off not asking, surely? If you’ve asked them and they’ve told you you need to trust the answer.

It might be wrong, but no one has any way of knowing for certain until they’re born.

ALY44 · 19/05/2018 16:56

No I mean wrong as in wrong prediction from sonographer.

OP posts:
superzoomer · 19/05/2018 16:57

No point worrying, there's nothing you can do about it.

Would having a boy be so bad?? Confused

OrchidInTheSun · 19/05/2018 16:57

Sonographers don't make predictions- they're not fortune tellers. They tell you what the scan shows. Hmm

Frenchiemamax · 19/05/2018 17:00

The OP isn’t saying there’s anything wrong with having a boy. Maybe she already has girls so is just nervous about the change? It can be difficult if you’ve mentally prepared yourself for months and the end result is different to what you expected. Again, nothing wrong with a baby boy at all.

ALY44 · 19/05/2018 17:01

Thank you @Frenchiemamax
