Thanks girls, I’m really excited actually but still have that niggly bit of nervousness.

And I’m pretty certain it’s not twins now. Am sure my symptoms would be a lot worse if it was.

Athers666 · 04/05/2018 20:19

Finally saw the midwife today, but only briefly?! Was just asked a few questions and then given a date to come for blood and to get green book etc, but it's three weeks away? Is this normal? Seems like they don't want to see me, so I'm stuck in limbo having no idea if all is ok or not. Was told I'd receive scan dates etc from the hospital in the post.

Cakelaur · 04/05/2018 20:27

@Athers666 how many weeks are you now? I've got my booking appointment at 9+3 and my scan at 12+2. The only reason I have scans earlier is due to previous loss and some bleeding. Can you book yourself in for a private scan maybe? Just to settle nerves?

Athers666 · 04/05/2018 20:30

@cakelaur I'm 7 weeks now. I did have a loss but it was very early so maybe that's why they aren't seeing me sooner. Private scan might be an option, will look into that x

peachesarenom · 04/05/2018 22:28

I'm 7 weeks now. I was wondering if anyone has experienced TMI a dripping feeling from the vagina? I have had a couple of stressful days and now I have been to the loo and had this feeling. No pink though. I don't like it.

Athers666 · 04/05/2018 23:10

@Peachesarenom I get this loads! Horrible isn't it, I keep dashing to the loo but it's just white or kinda clear. Often feels quite 'wet.'

peachesarenom · 05/05/2018 07:04

Thank you Athers666. Do you know if it is 'normal'?

Also, when I go to the loo, I have hardly any pee. I have been drinking though, where is it all going?

MagicalCreatures · 05/05/2018 07:50

The clear or white watery discharge is perfectly normal. It’s a way of the vagina clearing itself out to prevent any infections.
The pee thing, I have no idea but I have noticed this too. I drink loads but I don’t seem to be emptying a lot x

xLeanne128 · 05/05/2018 08:50

Absolutely terrified once again. Spotting has now been happening for 5 days. Still no symptoms at all. Been googling and now petrified how small the fetus was so it's not going to of grown and I'm going to loose it anyway. This is just awful!

Cakelaur · 05/05/2018 10:01

@xLeanne128 can you get in for another scan? How far along are you now? And don't panic babe. I had 3 days of spotting and all way fine. It could be bub just nesting in nice and tight!!

xLeanne128 · 05/05/2018 10:35

I've got one today but not looking forward to it. That makes me worry more too. 8 weeks today according to LMP but my cycles are very irregular, pill in November then a 36 day then miscarriage then a 45 day so not a clue. My last scan put me way under where I thought I should be but baby had a heart beat just was so small. Trying to tell myself it's because it was an abdomin scan but just feel really negative. Ovulated on the 30th march x

Cakelaur · 05/05/2018 11:30

So if you ovulated on the 30th March you're a couple days behind me. So you should be about 7+3 by my calculations. When was your last scan! I had one at 5+6 and it put me closer to 5+2 but it had a heartbeat. So don't worry too much a heartbeat is a great sign. I've got another scan on Friday.

@xLeanne128 sorry. Also meant to say good luck and keep us posted. I'm sure little bean is just perfect!

Bad day for me. Had my second scan and the sac is still empty. Slightly bigger but still empty at 7 + 2. Midwife has said she can't confirm miscarriage because it has grown but she says in all likelihood it is. She said it was surrounded by blood and since the scan an hour ago I've had bleeding. Terrified because I haemorraged last time and I am at work all week. So disappointed ☹

peachesarenom · 05/05/2018 12:04

I'm so sorry BobbySD345 is DP with you?

Cakelaur · 05/05/2018 12:12

@BobbySD345 I'm so sorry babe. No words. Sending massive hugs.

BobbySD345 · 05/05/2018 12:25

@peachesarenom @cakelaur thanks girls. Hubby is in the garden just staring at a sandwich don't think he can bring himself to eat it. She can't confirm miscarriage for another 7 days minimum unless my body does it itself because the sac is still growing albeit empty. Gutted

peachesarenom · 05/05/2018 12:35

I'm so sorry BobbySD345

MagicalCreatures · 05/05/2018 12:50

@BobbySD345 I am so so sorry. That’s what I had problems with last time. They just kept seeing an empty sac. How many losses have you had now? Sending you massive hugs x xx

BobbySD345 · 05/05/2018 13:57

@Magicalcreatures if I dont mc naturally and the sac keeps increasing in size will they just keep re scanning me and making me wait ? This is my 2nd. 1st one was a missed mc at 12 weeks and I was very poorly due to the amount of blood loss.

Primrose16 · 05/05/2018 14:03

@BobbySD345 I’m so sorry. That is utterly shit. I can’t understand that at all. Good luck with your scan @xLeanne128

MagicalCreatures · 05/05/2018 17:35

@BobbySD345 no they shouldn’t do. They will intervene and give you either a d+c option or medical management.
When I had mine, at 5+4 weeks a scan showed an empty sac measuring 5 weeks.
At 6+4 weeks a scan showed it had grown only by 2 days.
I went back 4 days later when I was 7+1 and it had grown again by another day and my HCG was still rising very slowly.
A specialist requested I wait another 2 weeks (which I was furious about because it was obvious that there was no baby and my HCG wasn’t consistent with a viable pregnancy) but he didn’t give me a choice. Very unusual really which is why I’ve put a complaint in but I think he was hoping I’d miscarry naturally within those 2 weeks.

I did start bleeding, not massively heavy but I was losing small clots, having mild cramping and losing some pregnancy tissue but the scan confirmed it was still there 2 weeks later so they offered me medical management.

They usually say that if you have a scan and nothing is seen, and a scan confirms the same between 7-10 days later then a miscarriage is identified and they will offer something. Whether it’s your decision to see if you can do it naturally or if you want help.

I’m so sorry your going trough this. This is what I’m petrified off happening again to me and why I’ve booked an early scan for Monday coz I couldn’t imagine getting to 12 weeks to find nothing there. X

kaytees · 05/05/2018 18:13

@BobbySD345 I'm so sorry - how awful for you and your family. If there's anything at all we can do, let us know x

BobbySD345 · 05/05/2018 20:42

@Magicalcreagurss thank you that's really helpful. Sorry to hear you have gone through this too. I think I'm going to take my leave now ladies because I don't want to put a downer on all your exciting months ahead. Lots of love and good luck wishes to all of you and thank you for keeping me positive for this long. I have my fingers crossed for all of you xx

Cakelaur · 05/05/2018 21:07

@BobbySD345 will you give ya an update of how you get on?? Maybe join the TTC after MC group. This is where we all started from. Sending massive hugs and I hope that it's over quickly for you and you get your happy ending. Xx
