I started to show properly around 17 weeks. I'm 18+4 now and the last few weeks the bump has really started to pop. I'm sure some sort of bump had formed before then but I now look noticeably pregnant rather than just fat (I hope)!

Hypermice · 09/04/2018 13:43

First pregnancy- about four monthS
Second- about four minutes Grin

MillieMoon94 · 09/04/2018 13:58

I’m 5’1” and petite so neither of my 2 were easy to carry. I started showing at about 10 weeks with DS and 9 weeks with DD. Both times bumps were MASSIVE and babies were only 6lb 2oz and 6lb 12oz respectively 😂

littlelottielee · 09/04/2018 14:08

Looks like 16-18 weeks is the norm!

@MillieMoon94 10 weeks with your first! Wow. Doc told me you can't show until after 12 weeks as your uterus is still in your pelvis. Maybe she's wrong eh!

I'm 6 weeks pregnant but have looked about 6 months pregnant for the last 10 years or so Hmm

CoolGirlsNeverGetAngry · 09/04/2018 14:21

Def around the four month mark I was noticeably pregnant rather than carrying a bit of a tummy.

MillieMoon94 · 09/04/2018 14:22

@littlelottielee I know, it was ridiculous! 😂 Maybe I’m just the exception that proves the rule, as I say I am very small, I think I’m just not built for carrying babies 🙄

Bringonspring · 09/04/2018 14:23

18/19 weeks. First tim round I remember being sooo desperate to show as for the first 18 weeks I actually just looked bloated and a bit out of shape!!!

mintich · 09/04/2018 14:26

12 weeks with first. 6 weeks with second. I do have a forward tilting uterus though!

TwittleBee · 09/04/2018 14:40

I thought I was obvious from 11 weeks (was just minor bloating though) and then at around 18 weeks I was certain everyone must know I am pregnant but then it was whilst we were only holiday at 23 weeks that I suddenly just "popped" and everyone then knew I was pregnant, so many people came up and asked "ooo when you due" from that point. I kept a weekly photo diary though and when I look back at it now, I can see I clearly did not even look remotely pregnant or tubby until about 19/20 weeks.

CRZ1988 · 09/04/2018 14:41

I'm 14 weeks, 5'6" and am showing now, my tummy is quite firm but I'm v uncomfortable today so maybe its because of that!

My tummy started looking less like bloat from about 12 weeks.

itallhappensforareason · 09/04/2018 14:44

I got a "woah someone's starting to show!" comment from my FIL on Saturday night so I'm guessing I do actually look pregnant now rather than just fat. Not sure if the comment was welcome though Hmm

lizzyttc2017 · 09/04/2018 14:48

I was about 12 weeks when I started to get a little round tummy which myself and close friends and family noticed and I think I looked more obviously pregnant at around 18 weeks ish :)

letstryagainaaahhhh · 09/04/2018 14:50

I started looking tubby in first trimester and like I'd put on weight... which I had! but didn't move into my pregnancy jeans until I was around 16 weeks, but that was more for comfort than need. However I definitely had bump by 20 weeks.

RLOU88 · 09/04/2018 14:54

A primark sales lady called me over to jump the queue when I was only 12 weeks! Thankfully everyone I was with knew. I’m 30 weeks now and quite the bowling ball 🎳

littlelottielee · 09/04/2018 14:59

Thanks for everyone's answers. I'm only coming up to 10 weeks do expecting not to have a bump for at least a couple of months!

@RLOU88 they let you skip the queue? How bizarre! Never heard of that before..

TwittleBee · 09/04/2018 15:01

Yeah Primark (and a few other places) let you skip the queue if you are pregnant or disabled!

preggersteach · 09/04/2018 15:02

I'm 25 weeks and only just started to show really and still not in a way that's crazy obvious just obvious to close friends and family that know really. Clothes have started feeling tight or not fitting from around 20 weeks

littlelottielee · 09/04/2018 15:04

@TwittleBee it's a perk I suppose but don't think I would do it! I would be too embarrassed.

Thanks everyone for responses Smile

20 something weeks but I can't exactly remember. No one at work noticed until I was 6 months.

8SaltandVinegar · 09/04/2018 15:05

I was about 24 weeks. Bump stayed really small. Had a section and one of the medical team said "what gestation is she?" I was overdue! Then proceeded to say I was tiny. My bruiser came out at just 7lb.

I'm tall and normally size 10. Don't know where he hid. Actually I do know, because my pelvis is fucked Grin

pimlicolife · 09/04/2018 15:06

And yes primark ushers you to the front of the queue when you're heavily pregnant whether you want to or not. Plus I used to get given a free coffee in Pret every single day!

Bromeliad · 09/04/2018 15:07

I'm 5'2" and only just starting to look really pregnant at 24 weeks I just looked fat until now. Last week I was googling "when do you start looking pregnant rather than fat" repeatedly! This is my first.

RLOU88 · 09/04/2018 15:26

yes, OP, although It was Xmas time and the queue was huge so maybe that’s why she searched me out. I was totally embarrassed I never knew this was a thing either.
