Just that really? First time mummy to be Smile curious to know when my bump will appear!

Congratulations OP! I think the first time someone commented on how pregnant I looked I was about 20-22 weeks. At about 17 weeks my tummy was definitely rounder and sticking out but I was trying to hide it at work so wearing very baggy clothes until after 20 week scan.

CherryVicky29 · 09/04/2018 15:33

14 weeks I started to show properly 🙂

Pinkvoid · 09/04/2018 15:39

I did have a little bloat before but as for an actual bump, 14 weeks.

Didntcomeheretofuckspiders · 09/04/2018 19:30

I could tell about about 12 weeks but I’d had abs before! To most people I just looked normal/slightly bloated. I think it became fairly obvious abound 16 weeks. I feel massive now at 20 weeks but it would still be fairly easy to hide under a big jumper!

WreckItRach · 09/04/2018 19:50

Mine took a while, I had a bigger belly but I would say that a bump didn't really appear until around 22-25 weeks. Although now (31 weeks) it seems to be growing every time I look in the mirror 😂 x

BasilThirty · 09/04/2018 19:51

Lost tone on my stomach by about 14 weeks, started properly showing around 22/23.

Ragusa · 09/04/2018 20:13

Hmm not till about 22 weeks with my 2. I was never petitie though so maybe that makes a difference. Also, I am 5'8".

Baby2018 · 09/04/2018 20:26

Im 16 weeks and definitely now have a bump, if I stand up its not too obvious but if I sit down it definitely pops out!

Belles86 · 09/04/2018 20:37

It’s sorted of popped out for me this last week (14) but it does get bigger throughout the day, so part of me thinks half baby, half food baby 😂

CheesecakeAddict · 09/04/2018 20:43

Very early. I was about 12 weeks people were wondering whether I'd been overindulgimg or pregnant

C0untDucku1a · 09/04/2018 20:45

17 weeks

ElfEars · 09/04/2018 20:47

Proper bump around 24 weeks.

Underparmummy · 10/04/2018 13:38

About 12 weeks I noticed but others didn't, by 20 weeks there was a mini bump that showed if i wore tight clothing or you saw my naked belly!

Loandbeholdagain · 10/04/2018 13:41

I had a very flat stomach (haha, never to be seen again!) so was definitely pregnant looking by 10 weeks. I also ended up having a 10lb baby so probably not the norm!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 10/04/2018 13:42

Like pp, I think I thought I showed earlier than I did... I could see a bump from 16 weeks, but I'm 26 weeks now and would say that for the last four weeks strangers have started commenting on it, so that must be when I started looking unambiguously pregnant!

FloydOnThePull · 10/04/2018 13:45

It appeared seemingly overnight at around 22 weeks. I went to my 20 week scan in my regular skinny jeans. 2 weeks later I was very obviously pregnant. She was lying in a very odd position at the 20 week scan (I had to have 3 of them as a result) so I think she must have moved in the couple of weeks afterwards and at that point my bump popped as she's lying fairly normally now.

SiolGhoraidh · 10/04/2018 13:51

I'm 18 weeks with my first, and last week I suddenly 'popped' and went from 'just fat' to 'is it twins?' (it's not!)

I wasn't expecting to show for a while yet as I'm of generous proportions anyway, but it's visibly bump now, rather than just chocolate!

Enwi · 10/04/2018 13:57

I’m 29 weeks with my first and I think it has only very recently got to the point that strangers in the street look at my bump, or ask how far along I am. I had a noticeable bump from 11 weeks but if you didn’t know me personally I could have passed as just having a bit of a tum until about 25 weeks.

Clarashan · 11/04/2018 03:16

Im 13 weeks now and people are starting to say they can see a bit of a bump, but it has just been easter!

Bumblealong1 · 11/04/2018 09:16

I think it varies a lot. I’ve always had to control my weight if I don’t want to gain and always assumed I’d have a big bump early on. 25 weeks now and still not popped into definitive pregnancy bump
