Chicken nuggets, chicken breast and now a tikka masala and they come back up, guess I'm getting my protein a different way. What was yours?

Tea Sad

lorisparkle · 25/03/2018 23:50

Red wine tasted like vinegar - I knew I was pregnant with ds2 as the same happened again!

Milk made me very nauseous at the time we were trying to wean ds1 onto cows milk. We used to distract him with ‘in the night garden’ and by the end the theme tune made me nauseous!

CointreauVersial · 25/03/2018 23:54

Chicken.

I had to change supermarkets because the one I usually went to had a rotisserie stand by the door selling hot roast chicken, and it made me heave every time I walked in.

FusRoDah · 26/03/2018 00:00

Bananas. I could tell when I walked into a room if there was a banana in there, even if I couldn't see it!

CoffeeChocolateWine · 26/03/2018 00:02

All green veg tastes slightly rancid to me, even when it’s as fresh as can be. I still force myself to eat it though. And I make up for it with fruit which is my main craving...can’t get enough of it!

When I was pregnant with DC2, it was more about the texture of food...everything had to have a sauce of some kind otherwise it just tasted like sand! Not so bad this time around.

vampirina · 26/03/2018 00:09

Sparkling water Confused. Melted cheese. So many things to be honest, just thinking of the packaging of stuff made me gag

HappydaysArehere · 26/03/2018 00:24

Everything. I couldn’t stop being sick and just the thought of food made me feel terrible. It went on for six months. But then I could eat high baked crackers, cheese and marmite. It was just small snacks until I gave birth.

Purplelady10 · 26/03/2018 00:32

I couldn't stomach tea when I was pregnant. Since she was born - like since the moment I was in recovery ward, I can't get enough!!

RosieCotton · 26/03/2018 01:26

All dairy. Milk cheese butter all of it is disgusting and makes me vomit.

RosieCotton · 26/03/2018 01:29

And ham omg the smell from ham its horrendous and cheese and onion crisps. Or chips.

babyjonesie2018 · 26/03/2018 05:06

Everything first thing in a morning, reading these comments has made my stomach weak, had to stop reading after half way down page 2.

I crave tea, decaf obviously, can't stand the thought of coffee let along the smell and hardly ever fancy anything but tea. Gone off all foods, sugar puffs without the milk is my fix and ice lollies. I really need to find something substantial and nutritious quick though as my food adversion is definitely not healthy for a growing baby in early pregnancy. I'm only small as it is Hmm

usernomnomnom · 26/03/2018 06:14

Any meat unless it was a Big Mac Blush

Didntcomeheretofuckspiders · 26/03/2018 08:41

Managed to eat chicken for the first time since I was about 6 weeks pregnant last night (18 weeks tomorrow). I’ve been off most other meats too, but chicken was the worst.

Can’t touch spinach. The thought of how iron-y it would taste makes me heave.

Tea leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. You know when you let it brew for too long and it’s all metallic? I just have that constantly after a cup.

Black coffee - used to love it but now couldn’t touch it with a barge pole.

Garlic! A little bit in something is just about fine but garlic bread or similar makes me gag.

Pissedoffandpregnant · 26/03/2018 09:33

Onions!

PrincessBananaHammok · 28/03/2018 20:13

thirtyplusone · 28/03/2018 22:09

Reading this thread just set me off running to the bathroom. Damn you baby sw*tcrn. Seeing it on Masterchef a couple of days back also now means the stair carpet needs replacing Blush

sparkles212 · 28/03/2018 22:39

Chicken in all forms 🤢🤢🤢

whichwayisitnow · 28/03/2018 22:53

Anything remotely minty. Food-wise it was fairly easy to avoid, but toothpaste was the worst, it made me absolutely heave. I had to switch to kids' strawberry-flavoured toothpaste for months, ugh.

mischiefmanaged01 · 29/03/2018 03:21

Meat- especially chicken! I cooked my usual fave dinner of roast chicken and jacket potato and couldn’t touch the chicken (DH and the Cat weren’t too upset!) thankfully around about 13 weeks all became normal again😊

Phillipa12 · 29/03/2018 04:29

With dc1 i couldnt eat red meat or chocolate, was violently sick with both throughout pregnancy. With dc2,3 and 4 it was fruit and veg that made me violently sick throughout my pregnancies.

Lubyloo · 29/03/2018 04:43

Lettuce! And it seemed that every single dish ordered in a pub or restaurant came garnished with a lettuce leaf!

Baby2018 · 29/03/2018 13:19

Red meat, especially raw mince, if I even see mince on like a facebook recipe advert it makes me feel like Im going to be sick
