Chicken nuggets, chicken breast and now a tikka masala and they come back up, guess I'm getting my protein a different way. What was yours?

Water.

BigRedBoat · 25/03/2018 11:58

Coriander, not a huge fan at the best of times but a bit in a salad or sandwich made me want to vom.

LRL2017 · 25/03/2018 11:59

Cadbury's chocolate!

Buxbaum · 25/03/2018 12:17

Chicken. I can’t go near it at the moment, in any form.

SpongeCake23 · 25/03/2018 12:18

Quorn sausages (I'm veggie)
Babybell cheese

I'm weird but I used to love these

Goldfishshoals · 25/03/2018 12:26

Anything sweet at all - biscuits, juice, chocolate etc.

I remember my lovely sil bought me this lovely box of chocolates that had to sit on the side uneaten for months!

Smellyjo · 25/03/2018 12:27

Isn't it interesting there seems to be so many with the same things, like meat and sweetcorn!! I'm veggie but happy for others to eat meat, but the smell of it in first trimester really made me want to run. In both pregnancies I went off tea but now getting back into it in second trimester. And perfume/ deodorant smells, aaarghh...

Bluntness100 · 25/03/2018 12:29

Mayonaisse. I loved it pre pregnancy and love it post pregnancy, but whilst pregnant, even the sight of a jar turned my stomach it was that bad.

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 25/03/2018 12:31

Tea- tasted like fish. Yuck.
Although I oddly craved it too. So really wanted my normal cup of tea but when I tasted it, it was rank.

kirinm · 25/03/2018 12:35

Pretty much all cooks veg until 16w. Am fine with salad items but still struggle with vegetables.

polkadotpixie · 25/03/2018 12:35

Tea. I've not touched it in months!

Most of my food aversions have eased off (I'm 15 weeks now) but I still can't bear tea and the smell of the fridge still makes me heave 🤢

cheshiremama89 · 25/03/2018 12:36

Milky tea, not that I had it milky.

But I had it almost black when pregnant
(Decaf of course)

DeadButDelicious · 25/03/2018 12:39

Beans and orange juice.

tinymeteor · 25/03/2018 12:40

Mint, and ripe fruit. Anything smelly basically.

CallieAllie · 25/03/2018 13:32

Chocolate 😳

Kpo58 · 25/03/2018 15:13

Potatoes and cooked vegetables after 5pm was mine.

thenightsky · 25/03/2018 15:16

Food cooked in cast iron pans. I could smell and taste the metal.

kikibo · 25/03/2018 15:46

Loved fish, fruit and salad. In fact I couldn't get enough of fish until around 5 months. Couldn't stomach anything greasy though. No sauce or pork. One measly sausage once in a while. Red meat in small quantities and chicken breast/turkey all the way.

Loved anything spicy. I once ate a whole raw chilli because I had fancied it for days. And I pretty much lived on ham and chutney or chorizo.
Early on I just couldn't stomach anything bland.

twobambinos · 25/03/2018 16:36

Can't look at raw chicken during pregnancy.
Fish is awful if u get sick so I completely avoid.
And tea causes me projectile vomiting so I avoid that too.

MrsHarker · 25/03/2018 17:20

Meat, esp chicken.
Tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate Shock
Cannot stand onions, garlic, or the smell of the fridge.
14 weeks now and oven chips have made up a large proportion of my diet...and they're sooo good Grin

RaliaMusca · 25/03/2018 18:41

Lettuce! I know, doesn't even smell or taste of much but oh lord, I can't stand the stuff right now.
Chicken only in small quantities, mixed in with other stuff or marinaded to mask the flavour.

Waterfountain97 · 25/03/2018 20:22

Gravy ! 😷

Fluffybat · 25/03/2018 20:53

All meat, garlic, tea, coffee and coca cola. Couldn't walk down meat section in supermarket or be near meat being cooked.

MrsMcW · 25/03/2018 20:57

Pesto. Evil oily green stuff...

Papillion86 · 25/03/2018 22:56

Pork! Randomly ham, sausages gammon etc are fine but a pork joint or any normal uncured pork and I will spend the whole night being ill! Even the smell of bacon makes me feel sick!
