It's normal to bleed after sex during pregnancy as I did with my first one. Try not to have sex until your reassured about the pregnancy

rebeccac29 · 26/03/2018 09:34

How long did u bleed for molly after sex and what colour and was it heavy

mollymoo0 · 26/03/2018 09:45

It was red blood for 2 days max but everyone is different.

Op can you go buy the first response early response because that will give you a good line if pregnancy because you can see it faintly on the normal tests

rebeccac29 · 26/03/2018 10:02

I would go to your doctors and ask them to test. Last time i had a miscarriage i was still having positive tests over a week later that were getting darker then it just went negative. Unfortunetly there is nothing they can do this early on. Hugs xx

rebeccac29 · 27/03/2018 09:15

They wont see me my bleeding has stopped they said keep doing test as u dont get false postive

rebeccac29 · 27/03/2018 15:54

Molly after your bleeding when did u get a postive test

OP posts:
lolli18 · 27/03/2018 18:09

I don't no what to suggest now unless U go to a&e and tell them

mollymoo0 · 27/03/2018 18:18

The tests should stay positive if pregnancy even if bleeding. If it's a miscarriage think it can take weeks to say negative so you still won't know.

lolli18 · 27/03/2018 20:29

But a&e would do a scan and that's a confirmation of a live pregnancy or failing failed one

rebeccac29 · 27/03/2018 21:06

Will see what test say in morning if negative will leave it as bleeding stopped

OP posts:
NotTakenUsername · 27/03/2018 21:43

There is sadly nothing that a&e could do this early. Even if you did have a scan, it would tell you nothing as it is too early to see anything or hear the heartbeat.

Sadly this sounds like you may have been having chemical pregnancies. Many women are never aware they have had one as the only symptom might be a slightly later or heavier period.

This thread is a good record for you to review what has been happening. The information might be useful to share with health care professionals in the future.

Read this article. It estimates 75% of pregnancies are chemical, that would mean only 25% of fertilised eggs ever make it passed the 5week mark! We just only really know about it if we test very early. It would also explain why doctors want you to have been ttc for a year before they will start exploring fertility issues...
