Nobody told me that it is possible to have morning sickness 24/7, right up until actually giving birth Grin thankfully this pregnancy is smoother!

This time it's hurting loads to sneeze or cough- which is apparently normal!

Tell me yours Grin

‘Fanny daggers’- sorry the only term I’ve ever heard for it- the sharp pains you get in your vagina during later pregnancy 😂

FranticallyPeaceful · 05/03/2018 14:43

For me it was after I gave birth - nobody talks about after birth pains do they??!
Those fuckers were worse than actual labour, because there was no silver lining at the other side of those and very limited pain relief available. Apparently they’re worse after every birth too... didn’t feel them with my first despite haemorrhaging... second time they absolutely nailed me. Fun times 😩

Paie · 05/03/2018 14:46

fanny daggers

Absolutely brilliant description 😂😂

Oooh I know what you mean regarding the after bit! I was still in labour for hours after giving birth- thankfully most of it is hazy

Fanny daggers Yep.

Nobody tells you that they can stay with you for years afterwards voice of experience

Tamingoftheglue · 05/03/2018 14:50

I've heard it called javelin arse as well by the way.

FranticallyPeaceful · 05/03/2018 14:54

@Tamingoftheglue this is my favourite

elvisisntdead · 05/03/2018 15:08

Love it!!

trevthecat · 05/03/2018 15:10

I dribbled all the time! Especially at night. Pillow would be soaked! It stopped when baby was born

FranticallyPeaceful · 05/03/2018 15:36

Oh and ear pain when you’re asleep, apparently caused by increased blood flow and cartilage softening. It’s bloody hard to turn over during the night as it is without adding the need to have to do so

SciFiRocker · 05/03/2018 15:41

That breast feeding hurts almost as much as childbirth!
I was in tears with it last time, I am getting prepared with creams and ointments this time!

Anniexoxo · 05/03/2018 15:43

@FranticallyPeaceful OMG. I just thought I'd been lying on them funny, didn't realise this was because I'm up the duff!

jimijack · 05/03/2018 15:49

How you have pains in places you never knew you had. SPD in particular, years later I still have pelvic and lower back pain.

I became emotional. My shrunken black heart grew at least two sizes and began to ache.....at fucking adverts, anything to do with kids on the news or in films, tv programmes. Jamie Bulger had me in an anxiety stricken state, his name alone made my heart literally crumble and hurt, I felt so distressed for his mother and family.
I'm not as bad now but it makes me feel unwell any mention of child suffering ,neglect or cruelty.
I was ard as nails before that bun in my oven.

The sweating and feet swelling after the baby is born; I thought I was ill until I checked on google

Pereie · 05/03/2018 16:06

That is actually not a nice experience. Every week brings a new pain and uncomfortable feeling with it. That your physical and mental health take a beating and that bland carbs have NEVER TASTED SO GOOD.

FranticallyPeaceful · 05/03/2018 16:22

@Anniexoxo indeed! It’s blinking awful.

I’m also going to add excessive sweating to the list. My armpits are unruly and it’s a constant battle, especially because I can’t use my usual or any other decent deodorant as pregnancy has made me sensitive to them. It’s a losing battle

Paie · 05/03/2018 16:54

@FranticallyPeaceful
@user1493413286
My ears hurt Too! I thought it was because I'm quite new to having piercing (has been nearly a year since I got it done!) But this makes more sense aha.
And the sweating, only today did it really kick in Blush leant on my bed whilst on the phone and left a little sweat patch Blush god whoever said pregnant woman glow....Wink

Please excuse my English and grammar in that post, I read it back to myself and it sounds a bit broken 😂

That after you have the baby you still feel really uncomfortable until the placenta is out.

readysetcake · 05/03/2018 20:04

That, as lovely as they are, your baby’s movements can bloody hurt sometimes. Especially when they like shifting their bum back and forth like they are trying to tunnel out backwards from your abdomen. Or hood you in the ribs.

readysetcake · 05/03/2018 20:04

*hoof you in the ribs

Tefiti2 · 05/03/2018 20:10

That you can get stretch marks on your fanny. Seriously.

jmscp2015 · 05/03/2018 20:15

I still get fanny daggers and javelin arse 13 weeks PP at my episiotomy site Angry

pickleface · 05/03/2018 20:17

That going for a poo after giving birth feels like your arse us going to explode. I had trouble with pooing pain for 2 years after my 2nd

FranticallyPeaceful · 05/03/2018 20:19

Oh God yeah. And peeing after birth is one of the most feared tasks on the earth

MissYeti · 05/03/2018 20:21

That your bump can pop and click randomly and that's 'normal'
