Hi,

I am really upset & worried. I was lucky enough to have IVF work first time. I have been so happy, but now i’m starting to panic.

Last Friday my Clearblue read 1-2 weeks, today (6 days later) it is still reading 1-2 weeks. Clearly my HCG isn’t doing what it should? I’m classed as being 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant, according to my IVF due date calculator. The embryo was placed back inside me 15 days ago, so if I had ovulated and it was a normal pregnancy then I would have ovulated 20 days ago.

Today’s first response (bottom pic) is not as dark as yesterdays. Please be honest with me, is it likely i’m having a chemical pregnancy? My scan is booked for 13th March when i’m 7 weeks and 2 days. I don’t think I can wait that long! Is it possible to book one sooner?

I’m really sorry village.

I had IUI to conceive and understand a little of the devastation you must feel. It’s so hard and the cruellest of blows.

Take time to think about next steps and you will get there xxx

So sorry to hear this, villIage. I’m glad they did the test for you and you’re not having to wait. Sending my best wishes Flowers

I'm so sorry to hear your news x

I'm really really sorry to hear that op.

In my experience these tests DO tell you something. In my 1st pregnancy the lines got darker and the weeks went up on digital as expected.

Second pregnancy the lines were faint for days and then got fainter. My weeks dropped from.3+ to 1-2.
Like you I got loads of reassurance that the tests were rubbish and to stop testing. I miscarried at 7 weeks.

I'm thankfully pregnant again now and and again the tests have gone up as expected.

The tests detect hormones and although there can be variations in these hormones, I don't think it can ever be a good sign to see tests getting fainter or digital week indicators not rising.

Please look after yourself. Flowers

I'm really sorry op

In so sorry. Please try not to worry too much about the quality of your embryo that's left (although I know that's easy to say!) I've had better results with my worst looking embryos. As I keep being told, some of the ugliest embryos can make the most beautiful babies.
