Early scan tomorrow and terrified

I have an early scan tomorrow due to some pain and bleeding a few days ago.

The bleeding has stopped but I’m terrified there’s not going to be a heartbeat

My boobs don’t ache as much and the bleeding was pink which I read can be a sign of a mmc. I feel nauseous but not enough to be sick and it comes and goes.

By my dates i’m 7 weeks on Friday. I was being sick non stop with DS by this point. I just want it to be morning already

Hi Thors. I've been where you are and so can empathise with your stress. Try and get a good nights sleep. Lots and lots of women have bleeding. I had lots of pink and brown spotting before 12 weeks. I'm 14 now and I've not had any for a few weeks. Have you got someone going with you?

Try not to worry, easily said then done I know I've been in your position. I bled at 4weeks along and I'm now 7+4 so not all bleeding means mc. Best of luck to you

DP is coming with me and it’s at 9:30 so I don’t have to worry all day.

Echoing other posters but try not to stress. Pink blood can be quite common, it’s a good sign that it’s not red. I had pink and brown bleeding at 6-7 weeks and had an early scan because of it. I was terrified there would be no heartbeat but the scan showed baby’s heart beating nicely
Had my 12 week scan on Monday and all is good! Good luck.

This is just the reassurance I need. Have no one to talk to in rl about it apart from DP but I don’t think he fully understands.

Will definitely come back tomorrow and let you all know how I got on

Bleeding is so so common in pregnancy! Try not to worry too much (easier said than done!) Lots of women bleed throughout the whole pregnancy! It's all normal and perfectly healthy. Have a nice bubble bath and cuppa to relax you. You're going to be okay. Best of luck for your scan xxx

I had the same so I really feel your stress, I had it once about 6 weeks and had an internal scan and once not long before my 12 week scan and all was fine. I’m now 23+5, it’s very stressful but hopefully everything will be ok x

I’ve had this with both unsuccessful and successful pregnancies. Bleeding, when it’s light, doesn’t mean anything.

I understand the concern though. It panics me too.

@ThorsMistress I've had pink spotting quite a few times over the past 8 weeks since finding out I'm pregnant and had a huge bleed a week past Friday, thought it was all over but I had a scan and baby was fine! I'm sure everything will be fine! I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow morning at 10am too! Good luck!

After two miscarriages, I'm 7 weeks pregnant. With all my other pregnancies I've always had horrendous morning sickness right from 4 weeks, sore boobs etc. This time, nothing. I was so scared it would happen again but a scan at the weekend and there was a little heartbeat.

Don't worry yourself about it OP. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I had light bleeding at 5 weeks and again at 11 weeks. Scans at 7 weeks and 12 weeks showed everything was fine, and he's now 2 years old and tucked up snug in bed. Thinking of you OP, it's a horrible state of limbo to be in

Thank you all so so SO much for all your kind words.

Just back from the scan and baby is fine saw the little heartbeat flickering away and they put me at 6+3.

I hope I can now relax a little until the 12 week one!
