So we found out our BFP Thursday when AF didn’t come.. however I’ve been spotting brown discharge when I wipe since Tuesday ( I just thought AF was on her way) the spotting was on and off throughout the days. Friday there’s was nothing and today there has been nothing all day until this evening I’ve wiped and there was more brown discharge Which has continued over the evening and turned slightly pink. Sad
I think I’m around 4weeks last AF was 1/1/18 so probably 2 weeks ish since ovulation..?
We MC in November 2017 which during that everything was fine until I had a fish of bright red blood one evening. So scared this is going to happen again, just really need some support if anybody has any? X

I'm not sure what to say... 💐. But when I was in early pregnancy I had some spotting and then it stopped. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy.

pregnantandfierce · 27/01/2018 23:00

@hope - try and stay calm. Stress and anxiety is not good for you and the baby. I have been reading loads on symptoms etc and a little discharge and spotting is pretty normal during the first few weeks. If you’re not in significant pain I think your way probably ok but it would be worth mentioning to the midwife. Giving you a virtual hug x

Hope18 · 27/01/2018 23:12

@slippermaiden thank you for your reply its nice to hear your pregnancy continued to be healthy :-)

Sorry @pregnantandfierce accidentally clicked done there!
I have no pain etc and defo know I need to not stress it’s not going to do me any good.. I’ve mentioned to EPU and if I get to 6 weeks with no red heavy bleeding then I’ll be having an early scan so fx that we make it to then.. I just hate all this unknown and worry as I’m the worlds biggest worrier as it is anyways !! Thanks for the hug it’s Defo needed ! Also hard just to carry on with normal life eg: back to work Monday and just feel like I want to go to the toilet and check every half hour x

I had similar at the beginning and I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and doing ok.

Try to keep calm and monitor it. Brown seems to be ok, as does a little little bit of pink but bright red and especially a lot of it wouldn't be a good sign.

Good luck.

milney25 · 28/01/2018 08:25

I had lots of this type of brown blood early doors too. At the stage oh are it could easily be implantation bleeding. Mine carried on, on and off, for quite a few weeks. I'd say try not to worry, but it's impossible. Just set yourself some key milestone, so getting to week 6, and aiming for that. Xx

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 09:04

Lovely to hear your now 35 weeks @passmethecakeplease would love to be In your shoes Smile hehe
And yes @milney25 that’s what we’re going to do, these next two weeks are going to be mentally hard but if we make it to 6 and everything’s fine then we can look forward to the next milestone of 12 hopefully.. how far gone are you now? Xx

milney25 · 28/01/2018 09:43

@Hope18 I'm 14 weeks almost and everything was fine at my 12 weeks. I had the spotting almost weekly until 11 weeks. After the 6, you'll have your booking in appointment to look forward to at 8, so that will break up your wait to 12 weeks!

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 09:47

@milney25 oh that will be good then do another 2 weeks after 6 and I get to speak to somebody again which would be good !
Aww pleased to hear everything was fine at your 12Smile just waiting patiently now, hoping each day the bleeding doesn’t increase !
I’ll keep you updated x

Hi ladies, last Thursday I got my bfp with clear blue , I was due my period on the following Sunday. Any way I went to a&e were they tool my blood and said my hormone levels had risen but not high to say pregnant. Any was done another clear blue test said 1-2 weeks. Any way I got my period this Wednesday that lasted3 days . My body is in a mess and my periods are all over the place that meaning week early or week late! Is there any chance I’m still pregnant, I’m very emotional but my boobs don’t hurt , any response on the matter would be great for the feed back I’m so warn out . Also the hospital it was a chemical pregnancy ,what is that ? Love to all x

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 13:01

Hey @pregnantandfeirce I’ve not had hardly any today just the slightest ever bit of brown on the tissue but I am being very much a detective when I go to the toilet ! 🙄
DH is very positive and thinks that we will be ok, but I’m always the worrier.. but I am trying to be optimistic that lots of women from what I’ve read online spot during early preg so hopefully I will be the same and go onto have a healthy scan etc! Thank you so much for the support and asking how I am, it means a lot! Work should keep me distracted to get through the weeks and today I’ve decided to make the biggest home made lasagne the world has ever seen to keep me busy 😂
Are you expecting and if so how far are you?Smile x

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 13:08

@missispoppins I believe a chemical pregnancy is a very early loss, where you get a positive test result but. Few days later your period follows.. it means conception occurred but the egg did not survive and therefore results in period. ( I think?!!)
Maybe take another test in a few days and see what that says? Sorry I don’t have much info I’m
Afraid.. all the best xx

@Hope18 hey I'm in a really similar situation second pregnacy after first ending in miscarriage. I'm around 6-7 weeks and I've been bleeding on and off for the past two weeks from brown discharge to bright red blood. We've been for a scan and to the hospital where they seem to think everything's fine. But coming from another extreme worrier I can't help fearing the worst it's the waiting that's a killer. I hope everything thing works out for you I'm sure it will Smile

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 15:00

@bean22 it’s comforting to hear your in the same sittuation and they’ve told you everything’s going ok so far I’m really pleased for you Flowers do you have any more scans or anything booked in or are you now waiting for 12 week ? We have to wait 2 weeks until we’re 6 weeks to have an early scan, seriously going to be the longest two weeks of my life ! X

AriadneThread · 28/01/2018 15:53

I had brown and pink spotting throughout 2 of my pregnancies x

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 17:45

@nailsathome
And we’re things ok?x

OP posts:
nailsathome · 28/01/2018 18:02

Yes all fine, and I had no bleeding at all with my first pregnancy and that ended as an mmc.

It is a worrying time but plenty of women have this and it turns out just fine

Hope18 · 28/01/2018 18:20

Thank you.. I do hope
