Oysterbabe · 22/11/2017 16:24

Looks girly to me.

AnaWinter · 22/11/2017 16:27

Pic 1 and 3 I would have said boy but 2 looks like a girl. Sorry not much help!

Nikki2ol6 · 22/11/2017 16:46

That’s is 100% a little girl you have there. Can clearly see the girly nub on pics 1 and 2. Can’t see any nub on pic3. But it’s for sure a girl

EvieBlack · 22/11/2017 16:47

Fluid.

SuburbanRhonda · 22/11/2017 16:48

It’s sex, not gender.

AnnieFr · 22/11/2017 17:02

Ooh interesting, thanks all...

Evie and Rhonda.. lol 🙄

I would say a boy. Just a guess

Filzma · 22/11/2017 17:42

Don't forget to update once you find out

BigBaboonBum · 22/11/2017 17:46

I’d say girl

Roxx1516 · 22/11/2017 21:45

Boy! And it's a called a gender scan for those who are saying it's a sexing scan, no one calls it that. It's a gender scan. End of

Roxx1516 · 22/11/2017 21:49

Gender means male or female, boy or girl, it either one or the other. If it's born a boy it's a boy! if it's born a girl its a girl! And that's how they should stay

SuburbanRhonda · 22/11/2017 21:53

And it's a called a gender scan for those who are saying it's a sexing scan, no one calls it that. It's a gender scan. End of

No one is saying it’s called a sexing scan, though of course that would be the scientifically correct term.

The OP asked for “gender guesses”, which are impossible to provide because an embryo doesn’t have a gender.

And “gender” doesn’t mean male or female. That’s sex.

AnonEvent · 22/11/2017 21:55

Looks like a girl to me (based on zero science, just looks like my DD in utero).

BigBaboonBum · 22/11/2017 22:03

Please stop getting political over terminology. OP wanted to know whether the baby has a penis or vagina, not whether it’s going to decide to be trans when it’s older - it’s really not needed. It’s just not needed.

SuburbanRhonda · 22/11/2017 22:09

What on earth has using the correct terminology for to do with being trans?

BigBaboonBum · 22/11/2017 22:15

The general argument is that they chose their own gender, babies are born with a sex and not gender, so a male being a female would be a trans female and so on. Which is fine, but I don’t understand why people feel the need to correct people when they’re just wanting to know what they will be born as

BigBaboonBum · 22/11/2017 22:17

@SuburbanRhonda and at this stage it’s a fetus not an embryo, and is sexed, just becomes clearer later

SuburbanRhonda · 22/11/2017 22:21

I know what transgender means!

Part of the reason why people now believe that gender is real and sex is irrelevant is because so many people think it’s ok to use the word gender when what you actually mean is sex.

SuburbanRhonda · 22/11/2017 22:23

Yes of course it’s a foetus, my mistake, but regardless, it still doesn’t have a gender.

BigBaboonBum · 22/11/2017 22:26

If gender wasn’t real why do so many people transition? Are you saying trans people are not real and just talking shite?

Lol, pulling your leg, but you can see why this whole subject is a joke, if you don’t support gender then you’re anti-trans. If you support gender then you’re anti-choice. It’s just whatever.

. It is, it isn’t, I don’t think it even matters as long as you’re happy doing what makes you happy.

OP wanted to know if she was having a girl or boy, that’s it.

WillowWeeping · 22/11/2017 22:29

Gender is not a synonym for sex.

Whether a foetus/baby/child/family is male or female (boy or girl) depends on biological sex

Gender is a social construct based on masculine and feminine stereotypes. You cannot know whether someone is going to play to a stereotype whilst they are in the womb, thus you are not identifying gender.

SuburbanRhonda · 22/11/2017 22:41

OP wanted to know if she was having a girl or boy, that’s it.

No, she asked for “gender guesses”.

HolgerDanske · 22/11/2017 22:44

Yes, sorry but this is important: it’s sex not gender.

I don’t know what sex baby is. Didn’t you ask them when you were having the scan?
