Here is my 12 week scan from this morning, I'm 12+3..... what do you think.. boy or girl?!

Lol, calm your tits ladies. I know trans women and men less militant over wording than this. Not everybody thinks the same way or is even aware denying gender is a thing. And being a certain gender doesn’t mean you have to act like anything @WillowWeeping .

I will point out errors in terminology and assignation of words in regards to sex/gender wherever I find them, because it matters a great deal. If you want to be stupid or ignorant about things, that is your prerogative, naturally.

This has got nothing to do with trans people and everything to do with using the right word when talking about biological sex.

PS I have a scan next week and can’t wait to find out the sex.

Everyone does seem to call them ‘gender scans’ etc... which technically is wrong and does wind me up a bit x

@surburbanrhonda maybe you need to google the word gender! I had my Gender scan and was told it was a male. It's says on the paper, gender and next to it, it says male

All private clinics call it a GENDER scan and all the hospitals do too. So why would I call it any different? Cannot believe where expected not to call it a gender scan now just because certain people choose to be trans. Some one said on here it will choose whether it wants to be a boy or girl when it's older, no im sorry but if I give birth to a boy he's a boy and I will let him no that he's a boy. Are trans gender people trying to put an end to the human race?

Its called anomaly scan, not gender scan.
They can't scan for gender, whatever that is, if anything at all.

It's not a "gender scan" at all. It's an anomaly scan to make sure that everything is ok with the baby. NHS hospitals do not refer to them as "gender scans".
