Hi folks,

Does anyone fancy a third pregnancy thread? I’ve had a look and couldn’t see anything similar, if there is one then please share. Thought it may be a good idea as obviously first is a bit different from third?
Age: 28
Children: 6 and 1DD’s
Pregnancy: approx 5 weeks (still bf’ing so cycle hadn’t returned)

Sorry to hear about your infection iamthefox hope it clears up soon.
This time round I'm not bothering with a birth plan as noone looked at the other 2 I'd written up so carefully.

ndo4000 my dds were excited to start with but over the past few months the novelty seems to have worn off and they can see I'm just too tired to do much other than sleep or watch tv. It feels like such a long time ago when we told them now. Hoping they'll be really excited again when she's here as well as much more helpful round the house, altho this could be wishful thinking ☺

Hello I hope you don't mind me barging in, but just found out i'm pg with #3. Already have ds 9, and dd 7. Got pg first month of trying last year then had a miscarriage at around 7 weeks - i was ok with it but wasn't sure I could face it all again. However recently every time I had a sniff of wine I'd get all tearful about wanting #3 and whether we should go for it, and laid-back dh was just like 'well let's just see what happens then'. 3 weeks later and i'm looking at a bfp.
Am pleased but also anxious. CoffeeChocolateWine I feel like I could have written your post. Definitely feel like we're pushing out luck and it's just mad going back into baby stage again. Also Dh works for himself from home so likely to be main carer while I go back to work ft - he is great with kids but I know how hard it can be with newborn/toddler.
I keep veering between 'groan - we have to do it all again' to 'yey - we get to do it all again'. Smile

iamthefox, I had a water birth second time around and it was amazing. It wasn't my plan...my first birth was awful and I had an epidural with top ups. I wasn't getting any break at all between contractions so really couldn't cope with the pain. But with my second I went into hospital in labour but was sent home as they said it wasn't established labour yet and I'd be more comfortable at home. When I went back in I was about 7 or 8cm dilated and too late for any pain relief. I was pretty devastated tbh. But a birthing pool was available and they offered it to me. I was amazed...I felt totally relaxed, was getting decent breaks between my contactions and it was in comparison a easy birth. My husband said it was amazing to witness too.

Definitely suffering more this time around. Lots of sickness, exhausted all the time and seem to be in the pain everywhere.

Still very happy though 😂

Hey, how is everyone doing? Any babies arrived yet?

My face is much better thanks poppypopsicle , the antibiotics have done their thing.

@CoffeeChocolateWine sounds like a great birth. I think I am leaning towards trying for a water birth in the MLU this time.

Welcome TheMildManneredMilitant Sorry to hear about your previous loss. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

How are you doing LeaderoftheAteam and SnowWhite ?

SnowWhitesRestingBitchFace · 01/12/2017 11:09

@iamthefox kind of going through the wars at the moment! Have come down with some sort of bug complete with awful constant headache and sickness so feeling pretty useless right now. Still signed off of work though so at least I don't have to pretend to be ok!

How are you doing?

LeaderoftheAteam · 04/12/2017 11:07

Iamthefox how are you? Infection all sorted now? Sounds very painful. I have been suffering with food aversions, I can barely cook for the kids which makes me feel very guilty. I had an early scan this morning as I so unsure of the dates and currently measuring 7+4days so due date is second week in July. Tiny baby had a heartbeat so very relieved. I feel really silly but cannot shake the feeling of twins, I've never felt this so strongly and with number 3 feel I should trust my intuition but definitely only 1 on the scan this morning, all very odd!

Has anyone got their dates for 12 week scans yet? Hope you are all feeling well.
