Harmony test result

Hi
If you had a harmony test, how long did it take to get the result please.

I had one last Friday and wondering when to expect it. I was told 5 working days so just wondering whether I should expect it today really.

I had one in 2015 but back then it used to be sent to America so it took two whole weeks but I was told the tests are being carried out in the UK now so assume results are quicker.

Thanks

Thanks Hazy, still can't believe am having a girl as this pregnancy is exactly the same as my son!

Hand my bloods taken on Monday so they will have been at the lab Tuesday morning... have been told I might hear today or maybe after the weekend.... obviously I have benn frantically refreshing my emails since about Tuesday afternoon! Glad you got a good outcome.

HSFa · 03/11/2017 11:59

I understand the wait! Really hoping for a good result for you as well.
There's a very good chance you will hear it today if the lab received it on Tuesday. I just looked at mine and it was received by lab on this Monday and got the result yesterday so total turnout of 3 days. Please let us know when you get yours. Are you finding the sex as well?

What time did you hear? Driving myself potty here!

Kellaree18 · 03/11/2017 13:05

Still no news on my results. This is absolute torture, the longer it goes on the more I'm stressing out.

Was really hoping I'd have heard by now. Is no news good news? Or a sign they've had to test twice because of a positive? Confused

HSFa · 03/11/2017 13:05

Exactly 5! I was the same yesterday, couldn't focus on anything!

Oh gosh Kel don't worry although I know how hard it is not to. The length of the wait doesn't mean anything, just means it takes ages to have it done due to various tests that's all.
Did the tell you how long it will take?
If you had it done on Saturday you might get in today but later during the day.

They told me up to 7 working days but that it usually comes in much quicker than that, which has made the wait worse as I'd imagined in my head having the result by now.

Would love to go into the weekend with good news so fingers crossed!

HSFa · 03/11/2017 13:18

If they said 7 days good chance might be this afternoon or you can call the clinic where you had it done to ask if they have received the result yet.

Did anyone have their test with Ultrasound Direct? I have spoken with the Operations Manager who assured me yesterday that they'll call as soon as they get the results, but I'm unsure whether she meant Head Office etc or the actual clinic I had the test performed at.

I know I'm being neurotic and impatient but it's been a worrying 10 days for me since my Combined Test results.

WrittenandGrown · 03/11/2017 16:17

Congratulations HSFa I haven't heard back yet. Can't wait!

BagelDog · 03/11/2017 16:20

Still no news here... suspect I need to wait till after the weekend now. Bugger. Kellaree18 hope you hear ASAP and it is good news

Kellaree18 · 03/11/2017 16:59

Just had the phone call! Low risk! So pleased!!

Waiting for my email with the full report now so me and my husband can find out the gender together Grin

Good luck everyone and fingers crossed for happy news for us all!!

BagelDog · 03/11/2017 17:05

Excellent news! You must be so relieved! Xx

Bunnyfluffy · 03/11/2017 17:40

My results are back - low risk.
Didn’t find out the sex.

Kellaree18 · 03/11/2017 17:49

Bagel - Yes, thank you! Fingers crossed for yours!!

Congrats Bunny!!

We're having a girl!! Am so shocked as my hormone levels were so low at the combined which apparently suggests boy.

BagelDog · 03/11/2017 18:25

Got our results - all low risk and bout #4! So pleased not to have to wait all weekend... lab called my clinic just before five. Phew!

BagelDog · 03/11/2017 18:26

Boy! Not bout....

Bunnyfluffy · 03/11/2017 18:29

I’m really pleased for everyone who has had low risk results

HSFa · 04/11/2017 10:41

Hi I went potty last week - had them on the weds eve, took till the following Friday afternoon to come through. I phoned at lunch time and they told me all was clear and it would come in half an hour, but I forgot to ask sex. 3 hours of hopping about madly before it finally came. All fine and a boy :)

Ekphrasis · 05/11/2017 12:17

So 9 days

thumbelina03 · 05/11/2017 12:19

I'm going to be paying to have this done, but we've decided to wait until our 12 week scan so we know the pregnancy is viable before paying £400+ out for nothing. Is that going to be too late to have it done? I'm going to be an "older" first time mum and have always said that I want every test going, although I know I am going to be a wreck waiting for the results to come through!

BagelDog · 05/11/2017 14:34

The wait is hideous but a low risk on the Harmony is v reassuring and I think well worth it. I am in Surrey and everywhere here was £350, only more of you needed scans as well, and if you have had your NHS scan at 12 weeks I don’t think a repeat will get you any more info? I waited till my 12 week scan before I had mine done as here if your risk is worse than 1:150 you get the SAFE test ( a version of the Iona, now done in the lab at St George’s) for free. And I agree the more info the better esp when you are a bit older.
