Thought it would be nice for us to post than the other thread.

we'd never ignore you!

day from hell here...ds woke at 5.30am ready to start the day! no amount of rocking, shushing, milk or even me singing in a lovely sweet voice 'go back to sleep you little shit, mummy feels like crap' worked!!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 12:51

pmsl, you think he sensed your pissed off ness

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 12:52

the only bloody thing is was ever any good at was sleeping thru the night, and not waking til 7/7.30am...now thats gone out the window!!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 12:54

Ds is still waking in the night and its killing me atm.

i just generally feel poo most of the day...but i did 1st time round as well...never really got the whole blooming in pg thing! but, am sure the 'blooming' thing will start asap if i don't cut down on the biscuits soon!!

hoping the this baby will be happier than ds!...though, most babies are happier than ds!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 12:59

lol

I'll be massive if I carry on snacking.

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:02

i'm beyond caring at the moment though - how sad!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:04

i guess i am too.

Have you contacted a MW yet?

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:05

haven't seen mw yet...doctor normally sorts that out, and i think i saw her last time just after i had my nuchal scan, which is in mid may

did you get morning sickness with your other pg?

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:07

Ahhh right.
MW said to me last week just to call after my scan to let her know how far I was and then to see her at about 16 weeks.

I had sickness with my dd but not ds.

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:08

ahh, so maybe another little girl then!

ELF1981 · 10/04/2007 13:09

(hijack) huge congrats JARM!!

skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:09

are you going to find out the sex?

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:13

Probably. Dh did want a suprise when we had ds but I couldnt wait so I wonder this time if he'll insist on keeping it a suprise,

Are you?

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:16

dh wants to find out, but i like the surprise, and having something else to push for, iyswim. we were 99% sure ds was going to be a girl, so it was fantastic when he turned out to be a boy!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:17

Yeah I guess your right. It is something else to keep you going.
I'm just so impatient lol.

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:18

lol

i just hope it's quicker and easier 2nd time round...labour that is, pg is already the same!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:20

Well it was certainly quicker for me.
6 hours compared to 12.

It would have been even eaiser if ds hadnt decided to go back up when I was pushing and turn transverse!

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:24

omg! what way did he come out in the end? nobody told me just how annoying the actual pushing bit is...talk about 2steps forward and 1 back!!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:25

Had to have episiotomy and forceps because he did try and turn back for me but ended up coming out face up instead of face down.

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:27

ouch ouch ouch! you'll tell me you didn't have any pain relief as well i bet!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:28

lol no I didnt
Totally my choice and to be totally honest its not that bad.

I did have a TENS but it packed up on me the morning I went into labour!

OP posts:
skirmish · 10/04/2007 13:29

well done you! drug free here too, but was constantly throwing up during labour so kinda limits what you have!!

Nbg · 10/04/2007 13:31

Awww no!
I remember wanting to be really sick when I was having dd but wasnt.
