yeah @Ohb0llocks i just noticed this morn as i got my phone back and when i went on to the mumsnet app, all the threads iv been on were showing so i clicked on the old PMA thread and seen the last message alluded to private message invites to a fb group.

i know the world of TTC is stressful but when an online thread stresses you out, causes bitterness etc, maybe it’s more than meditation that’s required! anyways, i never believed we were still welcome over there hence why i never went back. PMA all the way hehe xxx

Welcome DueNov! I've been having raspberry leaf tea since 34 weeks, though struggling to manage 3 cups daily, just because I keep forgetting. Think with most things supposed to bring on labour, you've got to have lots and lots (like pineapple and sex) and with nipple stimulation you've got to be at it for hours :) Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer to meet your little girl :)

No news from me, still 5 days till due date and know plenty of people who've gone a week over, so preparing for a 41 weeker. But I can't complain, as still feeling really well and carrying on as normal.

Although I don't use facebook much, if we moved over to there, that'd be fine by me.

@BellaMoon yeh I noticed that I went on to see how the girls were getting on but noticed the last message of “did u not get my private message” seems a bit rotten after the whole hullabaloo about starting up a new thread & now we been completely ditched! Not surprised whose instigated it however!

@AmandaP86x we are in Cameron House. it’s so lush! room is looking right across the Loch, will try attach a pic. DH has asked for a room with a big bath and they certainly accommodated us! we’ve both been in (together obvs) and that’s a miracle consider our height and my width these days 😂 had a lovely wee walk before we got to the room, it’s so crisp outside but dry, my fave time of year #hatscarfandgloves we got engaged here and spent the night after our wedding here so the chocolates were a lovely touch. dinner not til 9 so i might have to have a nap so that i’m still awake then haha xx

i wasn’t surprised either but hey ho, i’m so glad our thread has continued and we’ve seen these beautiful babies join us too xx

Aw @BellaMoon we stayed in Cameron House couple of months ago. It is beautiful. Where u having dinner? The spa is amazing there just annoying it’s not actually attached to hotel. Beaut views love it x

How will we do the fb group? I don’t know how to do stuff like that really!

@BellaMoon that’s a shame. I did always feel a bit awkward about going back on there though. Especially after the kerfuffle.

Sounds like a lovely mini break Bella :) Tbh I think it's different with your second, especially when your first is still quite young, so you probs focus more on everyday life than your imminent arrival. I was symptom spotting with having the increased pressure and nausea, then thought I was having a bit of cramping a few days, but was just the prelude to diarrhoea, ha! So laid off the symptom spotting. Knew when I was in labour last time, so hope it will be the same this time round too. Think if I lose my plug or get a bloody show I might be looking a bit more closely though :)

I wasn't really aware of what went on on the previous thread, as only was on it for the first two threads, as couldn't keep up it moved so fast and then when I got my bfp, felt I couldn't come back and just say I got my bfp. I like our little group on here though :)

I've set up a couple of private groups on fb previously Ohb0llocks. Just people who are invited to join can see the content and post etc.

Great ladies! If I'm right, I think someone has to add everyone on Facebook and then they would just create a private group? I don't mind (attempting) to do it - if everyone that wants to be involved sends me a private message with their Facebook name then I can add you all and create the group?
Unless there's another way??

I think that sounds like the best way to do it Dolly, as like you say, not sure how you can.

He arrived this morning at 6.34am weighing a tiny 5lbs 11.5ozs - first size baby gros are drowning him!

Everything happened really fast and nothing went to plan but he's here and he's just perfect! We are so in love 😍 this is the best feeling in the world!!! I will give a proper detailed update in due course.

DS2 has been asleep on me since I fed him at 8. Going to change his bum and feed him then try and get him settled. If not I’ll let him do downstairs with DP for a bit.

@AmandaP86x we had dinner in the Cameron Grill. i hate to complain but it wasn’t up to the standard i expected. couldn’t eat my parsnips as they were so hard! the twice we’ve been before we booked Martin Wishart but i just couldn’t justify the expense this time, also, the menu there doesn’t really lend itself to the “don’t eat” list of food for pregnancy lol xx

i won’t be going to the pool or spa as my swimming costume doesn’t fit anymore and iv not been swimming enough to justify buying a maternity suit. back in the room now with a rather tipsy DH given he “had to” drink all by himself #twat #supposeitshisanniversarytoo

i have no clue how to pm. but i’ll work it out, that’s if i can even remember my log in details 🙈 third world problems eh, all these apps do the hard work for us these days!

Can't help with an app, as I always use my laptop to access mumsnet with not having a smartphone, but on here you go to "my mumsnet" then "inbox" and then there's a button for "private message"

Yeah you need to be on a browser to pm, bit the app.
