As the title really! Supposed to be a light hearted thread. When did you get your positive?
My best friend was 7 weeks before a HPT came up positive but she says she just knew she was pregnant!

At about three weeks, period was always regular as clockwork so as soon as it didn't come I knew. Would rather I found out later as it was such a drag to get to the 12 week scan. Can hardly believe I'm 39 weeks now Shock

outofmymind2 · 07/09/2017 00:02

Not long to go!
I found out at 3+5 with my DS and it took soooo long to get to the first scan. Pregnancy really is an age 😂
With my second which resulted in a loss I didn't get any positives until I was 6 weeks then lost at 9 weeks.

Just shows all pregnancies are different!

The day after my period was due. I'm never late and we were going away the next day so I needed to know.

I'm 38+3 now!

pomadas87 · 07/09/2017 00:17

3 days after AF was due. Thought I'd had it but then I was suddenly suspicious it was so light and short so I took a test!

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 07/09/2017 00:26

Found out at 7 weeks Blush she wasn't exactly planned and I wrote it all off as a UTI. Decided to do a test at home so I could tell the doctor I definitely wasn't pregnant as I knew they'd ask, up pops a positive Grin

Orangebird69 · 07/09/2017 00:26

6 days!

SerfTerf · 07/09/2017 00:32

I can't remember. Not for any of them. Is that quite bad?

I do remember that for the one that arrived 14months after another one, I never tested, just thought "here we go" after a while and booked myself in Blush

I should remember more of the littleun's details though BlushBlush

DeadDoorpost · 07/09/2017 00:51

My dad knew before I did, and he could tell 3 days after we'd dtd. I found out for certain 2/3 weeks later but have never actually figured out how far along I was then. Am now 29 weeks though. It's still dragging.

SerfTerf · 07/09/2017 01:01

By looking at you, you mean? 😮

SheSaidHeSaid · 07/09/2017 07:08

Two days. We had been trying a little while but as months rolled past I didn't think it would ever happen and was pretty disheartened. I tested because we had drinks with friends planned that weekend and I wanted to rule it out so I could drink without guilt.... instead I got the best (kind of) surprise!

Sakura03 · 07/09/2017 08:25

We'd been trying for a while so I'd bought the clearblue monitor and on day 28 put a pregnancy stick in the machine and hey presto BFP (2 years after an early mc). I'm now 30 weeks pregnant.

outofmymind2 · 07/09/2017 09:44

Love hearing everyone's bfp stories!

@SerfTerf Yeah, but then he's also had 6 kids so I guess he's been able to notice things easily. My nan is exactly the same. Had she seen me she'd have known instantly (we don't know why it's just a gift she has). Thankfully neither of them said anything and acted surprised when we told them at least.

A week or so past the date my period was due (technically 5+4 I think). I'd had so many negative tests that I was scared to take another test and be disappointed, so I kept putting it off!

Thecomfortador · 07/09/2017 10:16

About 2 days before haha. I was unbelievably sad because my references weren't good enough for a volunteer role I applied for and I felt like I'd never work again with crap references. So I did a pg test to cheer me up. Faintest of faint squinters came up and I went to bed happy haha. Sods law the following week I was offered a full time job (still awaiting references...). Nearly 8 weeks and squinter is now a dark line.

Expectingbsbunumber2 · 07/09/2017 10:21

I found out at 3-4 weeks.

IfeelFloopy · 07/09/2017 10:59

I found out at 11dpo. I had never tested early before (cos I'm too tight to pay out for tests haha) but saw 2 tests for £2.50 whilst I was out so bought on a whim.

To my surprise I had a clear positive result so I think I would have been 3+3.

MooChops89 · 07/09/2017 11:09

I was 3+3 (I'm 5 weeks today!) and it was the day before AF due, I'd developed a bit of an obsession with testing since ttc (and done a few since BFP too as I still can't quite believe it!). Had just got home from a night shift and was expecting a negative. Agree with others that first scan seems a million years away, I just want everything to be ok!

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 07/09/2017 11:18

4 or 5 days before AF was due, same with my last pregnancy.

Lillygolightly · 07/09/2017 11:24

With my first DD was roughly 7 weeks when I found out. Had felt a bit sick that morning and then went to boots to get my meal deal sandwich and happened to walk past the preg tests and bought one on a whim. Didnt really think I'd be pregnant at all so didn't do the test right away. Needed a wee before leaving the office so peed on the stick and bam bfp!! I nearly fell over.

Second DD was TTC and I was sat on the sofa and felt what I was sure was implantation pains. Sure enough just days later very early bfp. Very long preg though with knowing so soon.

Currently pregnant with a surprise baby I had just started back weight training after a bit of time off. Decided to do no carb keto diet and thought that it was making me feel a bit crap. I then thought I had a tummy bug after weeks of feeling sick I gave in and tested just to rule it out. Bfp now almost 27 weeks.

WineAndTiramisu · 07/09/2017 16:33

3+4 here as well, quite strong positive as well! Now 7+6, times dragging somewhat!

How far past af date were you when you found out?
MamaOfTwos · 07/09/2017 16:35

I had no idea as my periods hadn't got back into a rhythm since having DD, this one will be called 'drunken anniversary sex' baby Blush

SerfTerf · 07/09/2017 16:39

It's witchy genes dead Wink

Ragwort · 07/09/2017 16:40

10 weeks, wasn't actively trying to get pregnant, never had regular periods and was approaching the age when a missed period was more likely to be the start of the menopause Grin.
