As the title really! Supposed to be a light hearted thread. When did you get your positive?
My best friend was 7 weeks before a HPT came up positive but she says she just knew she was pregnant!

Three days before period due

I do know someone who never had a positive urine hcg- they finally found out at five months with a scan.

Hopeful2102 · 07/09/2017 16:51

A week after af was due, I was certain I was coming on the day I was supposed to because of the cramps I was getting but never did. Bf said he suspected I was but didn't say anything to me lol

I was lucky in that I just came off of Zeletta after 5 years, and thought I could expect months and months of irregular periods.

They basically went back to normal in 2 months, so when I was due on a Friday and it hadnt arrived, I tested on the Monday and it was positive :)

Interesting to see everyone's different stories.
I'm currently 6 days late, no sign of af and negative test this am.
Just letting the days pass now and what happens happens!

Hopefully I'll be a late Bfp-er!

A few days before my AF was due. I thought I had a period, but when it stopped after a day I thought it must be implantation bleeding.

Tested the day before I was due and there was a line.

In contrast to my first which I took the implantation bleeding as a period. So when my next period didn't come thought I was 4 weeks but I was actually 8 weeks.
Skipped a bit in that pregnancy when I was 16 weeks at the 12 week scan.

Crumbelina · 08/09/2017 15:36

I think it was almost 2 weeks after AF was due. We'd been trying for 20 months with no hint of a BFP and I was too scared to test in case I got yet another negative. I quite liked finding out that 'late' so I had less time to worry between the BFP and the first scan.

outofmymind2 · 08/09/2017 16:48

crumbelina I'm thinking if I get a positive 2 weeks after af was due then at least I'll be a bit further and have less worries!

3 days before AF was due for me! Had been actively trying after two consecutive losses late last year and couldn't cope with the sudden nausea so took a test and bam, BFP! 28 weeks now and agree with all about how much it drags when you find out early on! Smile

DuggeeHugs · 08/09/2017 20:57

53 days after AF (I don't have a cycle). At the 12 week scan I was only 8 weeks, so clearly nothing happens as you would expect!

IHateYourCarpet · 09/09/2017 08:20

4 months Grin

Actively trying, negative tests, and no bloody symptoms. Has made pregnancy incredibly short though.

outofmymind2 · 09/09/2017 10:12

ihateyourcarpet so you got to 4 months without a positive?! Crazy!
At least it shortened pregnancy for you Grin

Day af was due I found out 😜

Jasmine1111 · 09/09/2017 11:56

I've never ever known why day my period would arrived. Even on the pill it varied month to month.

DS1 I wasted a fortune on tests - didn't have a period for a year after coming off the pill and even then it was brought on by medication before starting clomid.

Had six round of clomid so basically tested two weeks after scan had said I was ovulating each time.

Second and third pregnancies was just a guess / feeling. All around the 4-5 week mark.

This time I tested two weeks after we'd had sex and initially got a bfn. Got a positive three days later. This time I'd only come off the pill one month before so it was quite the shock! A good one obvs!
