Anyone applied for Maternity Allowance lately? How long ?

Hello

Has anyone applied for mat allowance lately that is an employee?
Trying to work out how long it will take to hear back. Lots of old threads about it taking months and there being a backlog, but nothing recent.
I applied 15th august and they set my payslips back on 18th august (fast!)
There was a slip saying up to 24 working days for any more info..

Hoping itl be faster though and not one of these cases that takes months.

Anyone heard back lately?

Hi they received my form on the 23rd October and I'm due to get my first payment this week it was completed 3rd January so still quite a wait xx

My application was received on the 30th of December and received my letter with payment info today with letter dated 23rd of January after being told it could take 10 weeks so looks like they are speeding up and getting through the applications faster.
