Good morning! I've had some light spotting this morning, first time pregnant so worrying now!! Do I need to phone the midwife?
She deemed me high risk due to my weight? Do I need to worry? Or do I need to just calm down? Xx

I'm sorry to hear that. It's an awful situation to be in and I really feel for you.

There's hope until they can confirm your hcg levels are dropping, but you should try and mentally prepare yourself in case it is bad news.

Brenna24 · 30/08/2017 21:38

How are you doing?

Sussexgal · 30/08/2017 21:53

Been waiting two hours to have bloods taken as only one gynaecologist doctor for whole hospital and apparently only he can do my bloods :-( all this waiting for what's probably going to be bad news :-( x

OP posts:
Brenna24 · 30/08/2017 22:09

That is nuts. It is not exactly a particularly difficult choice of tests to run and anyone trained in taking bloods can do it.

Sussexgal · 30/08/2017 22:46

Bloods taken..... will call in the morning with results.......
All this waiting 😭😭

Brenna24 · 30/08/2017 22:50

I hope you get some sleep

WhingyNinja · 30/08/2017 23:26

Sending you a big hug, the waiting must be awful for you.

Sussexgal · 31/08/2017 08:04

They phoned and left a
Message on the bfs phone saying I was to come and have the scan........ so that must mean my levels went up..... is wrong that my hope has just gone up too???

OP posts:
Brenna24 · 31/08/2017 08:31

Not wrong at all. I hope that is a good sign. Flowers Let us know how it goes.

RedPanda25 · 31/08/2017 08:35

Definitely not, completely understandable! When is your scan? Will be thinking of you!

Sussexgal · 31/08/2017 08:39

It's at 11
So nervous! And I'll be on my own as bf has been freaking out about working being mad at him as he goes on holiday tomorrow for two weeks says he needs to go in to finish stuff before holiday and earlier said to me he needs a bit of normality:-s

OP posts:
Brenna24 · 31/08/2017 10:06

I can kind of understand if work are being arseholes about letting him come, but the comment about needing a bit of normality is not fair. You can't just duck out of this and he needs to support you.

Brenna24 · 31/08/2017 12:06

How did it go?

Sussexgal · 31/08/2017 13:38

I'm still pregnant but it is def failing, they couldn't find it with a ultra sound or vaginal
Scan but they say it's in their somewhere
So they've taken more bloods and I may have to have another scan next week o make sure it's completed
I also have a large cist/endometriosis , it's 12cm so once the pregnancy is completed I will need surgery
Thank you for all your kind messages

Very sorry to hear that. Take care Flowers

Sussexgal · 07/09/2017 15:54

I didn't know who else to talk too, I'm still being
Monitored by the hospital and they told me today
My levels have gone up 😱😱😱
They want to do a scan tomorrow
I'm trying not to get to excited as there could still be problems/ectopic but that little flame of hope is getting bigger x

I'm so sorry that you're having to go through such horrible uncertainty. I've been there and it's torture to endure.

Mine came to a very unhappy conclusion yesterday where I felt utterly let down by the consultant in charge.

If you're going in for a scan today, then ask every single question you can think of. Try to understand everything they are telling you. If you want something (extra scan, blood tests etc) then demand them. If you want a second opinion then demand it. Fight for your rights because nobody will fight as hard for you as you.

Just don't be fobbed off and then live to regret it. I regret not fighting harder.

I really feel for you and I hope you get the outcome you want. Hope for the best but be prepared for bad too.

I don't know what your hCG levels are doing because you haven't said, but levels that fluctuate isn't a good indicator of a viable pregnancy.

I'm still hoping for good news for you. Let us know how you get on today.

katiegd · 08/09/2017 09:06

Flowers I don't have any experience to share with you but here's a little bit of cautious hope and lots of supportive thoughts to you today.
