I know a nursing bra is one that lets you unclip to get a boob out for breastfeeding, but what is a maternity bra? Some websites call the nursing bra a maternity/nursing bra, which makes sense, but I also read I should consider wearing a maternity bra from early in the pregnancy. Is that just a soft stretchy non-underwired bra, or is there something special about it?
Now for my second question, does anyone know a website where I can get really big bras? I've always had big boobs but put on weight over the past couple of years that I wasn't able to shift before getting pregnant. So I am or rather pre-pregnancy was a 44GG, and found it hard enough to get bras in that size. I don't know how much bigger I am likely to get but I can't even find a single website with a maternity/nursing bra that goes up to 44G - some have that back size but not cup size, and some that cup size but much smaller back size.
I guess I could get the right cup size and get one of those extender hooks to make the back size bigger, has anyone done that? Or does anyone know of a website that does maternity bras in that size and bigger?
