Have a lovely weekend peeps. I'll post a picture of my wedding outfit bump later.

@Lauralou031986 proper sucks. Haha brilliant. I live a pram cracker.

@CL1982 we won't be finding out this time. We did with both boys but thought for our last would be nice to have a surprise.

@SS81C looking forward to seeing your outfit

I'm so tired again and have a headache again grrrr. Nice hot bath tonight and then bed

Lauralou031986 · 02/09/2017 18:11

@mummyGof2boys hopefully the sickness doesn't last long for you,I don't think I could not find out I'm just to curious I.NEED.TO.KNOW lol

blueobsessive · 02/09/2017 18:44

@Lauralou031986
We have decided we will find out but we will tell everyone we are waiting for a surprise (hopefully avoiding a tide of pink or blue). I am female but you might have noticed that I am partial to a bit of blue.

Your talk of a Chinese takeaway from yesterday is making me hungry... just about to have a second go at blind baking the case for an apple tart for an invasion of nieces tomorrow. First time round I forgot about shrinkage and ended up with no sides. Oops. DH and I planning to eat the failed pastry 'deconstructed' tonight with fruit and yoghurt. Proper masterchef!!

Hope the wedding is fun @SS81C And that you survive oop north (I hear there be monsters, and much cold...)

@mummyGof2boys hope the nausea passes soon.

Lauralou031986 · 02/09/2017 18:52

@blueobsessive oh apple tart sounds yum, I'm making do with some chocolate fingers, I'm a sweet tooth kinda gal Smile how far along are you? I'm rubbish at keeping track

SS81C · 02/09/2017 19:43

No hiding my bump today.... that probably is partially the massive wedding breakfast I've eaten........

Part 2 - anyone found out they are pregnant and want some buddies
CL1982 · 03/09/2017 01:16

@SS81C Looking good! Loving the colour.

Just been out. It's 1.33am. Quite proud I'm still up. Was put in Sheffield city centre so er. What an experience!! Managed to guilt DH into finally coming home. Also have horrific indigestion with some really nasty little pains on the top left of my bump. Yuck.

blueobsessive · 03/09/2017 17:16

Totally fab dress @SS81C and lovely bump. Hope wedding was fun.

@CL1982 well done for staying up that late and living it large in Sheffield town centre! I used to do cases up there and still have a soft spot for it.

@Lauralou031986 you are a woman after my own heart. I love chocolate fingers. Currently 13+5 so behind you. Tart (take 2 on the base) worked well and seems to have been inhaled by the young visitors. Now I have to work out what to do with the remaining part of flat round bit of shortcrust pasty with barely any sides?

SS81C · 03/09/2017 19:28

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.
Wedding was fab but I'm shattered after 6 hours of driving today. I had a bath and then fell asleep on the bed....whoops....

Came home to a very low risk nuchal (1:15500 which I was impressed with because I'm old) and my scan date for my anomaly scan so that was good although that seems ages away.

Hoping the toddler settles quickly so I can go to bed.....

CL1982 · 03/09/2017 20:28

@SS81C Glad it was good but that long drive... zzzzz

The indigestion has begun. Does anyone have any tips aside from Rennes (spelling!) and no more Chinese food?

Also has anyone heard that Mc flurry and mr whippy are on the pregnancy naughty list for some bits of the country? Is this true? Because if so that sucks.

mummyGof2boys · 03/09/2017 21:01

Yeah that's true @CL1982 I think it's because you don't know if the machines are cleaned properly.

Iv had bad dihorrea last two days. Not felt unwell just a bit of a sore tummy bleugh. I use gaviscon for indigestion and it seems to work straight away. It's foul though. Takes me a while to perk up the courage to swallow it as it's so thick lol.

CL1982 · 03/09/2017 21:08

@mummyGof2boys maybe I need to get a bottle of it...TMI but every poo I have a party 😂💩🎉

OP posts:
mummyGof2boys · 03/09/2017 21:28

😂😂 the last two days Iv been the same. It's horrible. Defo try a bottle of gaviscon

blueobsessive · 03/09/2017 22:27

@CL1982 bad luck on the indigestion. I have been feeling it worst when I've been not sufficiently clearing out further down below, as it were. My approach is two pronged: (a)movicol for easing production down below, or "losning" as it is rather aptly called in Swedish, you get the picture and (b) industrial quantities of peppermint tea (although I can't cope with it over stewed at the moment - was also like it last pregnancy. The smell. Eugh. DH thinks I'm bonkers ).

If you can get past the gag reflex gaviscon can work (but I find it adds nausea to the mix, and I personally prefer one symptom to two). @mummyGof2boys is clearly made of stern stuff.

Turns out about 75%of my bump must have been bloat/ gas /poo. Much trimmer all of a sudden.

blueobsessive · 03/09/2017 22:29

@SS81C fab nuchal. Good luck with the upcoming scans.

SS81C · 04/09/2017 06:40

The only thing I found worked last time were the gaviscon double action tablets. Which pains me because I hate paying for branded drugs......but there isn't a supermarket version that I can find (of the double action stuff.....) I couldn't stomach the liquids - bleurgh!

Yeah the Mr Whippy one sucks.....its because the machines can contain Listeria amongst other things......i love a Mr Whippy but at least it's autumn now so most of our pregnancy will be over the winter.

15 weeks today....had the randomest dream that the baby arrives early but was like A full term baby....and also that Laurence fox was one of our obstetric doctors.......

mummyGof2boys · 04/09/2017 08:06

Does everyone know how much weight they have put on so far? Iv put on 2kg which I think is pretty good. I'm sure I put more on last time xx
