That's it really, just nosiness. DD was 7'10" but all through my pg midwives & locum GP( I saw him a few times) said baby was big & asked me lots about size of mine/DH's siblings. She obviously wasn't particularly large but I just wondered as most of my friends 2nd ones have been bigger but that's not a particularly large sample.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 25/03/2007 20:24

ds1, 1 week early, 9lb9.5
ds2, 4 days late, 10lb 12.5

(i actually thought i was going to die during ds2s birth!) lol

PurpleLostPrincess · 25/03/2007 20:29

DS1 was 6lb 11ozs - 8 days late
DD1 was 7lb 13ozs - 8 days late

I did wonder if this one will be another pound heavier which would be the higher end of 8lb but I'm trying not to worry about it too much. Based on other people's experiences, I don't think its a rule as such so we might be OK!

Posey · 25/03/2007 20:33

Dd 7lb 12 - 11 days late
Ds 8lb 5 - 13 days late

ghosty · 25/03/2007 20:35

DS 10lbs 1/2oz
DD 10lbs 10 oz

LIZS · 25/03/2007 20:44

dd was an ounce heavier than ds but 11 days late !

mamado · 25/03/2007 20:48

dd1 8lbs 3oz (10 days late)
dd2 8lbs 13oz (7 days late)
and they said all along that dd2 would be smaller

mamijacacalys · 25/03/2007 20:55

DS 6lb 13: had a really neat bump, no mat clothes until about 5 months.
DD 8lb 12: had a huge bump, mat clothes from 3 months, but also size seemed to be due to there being loads of fluid (trickled constantly thoughout labour, sorry if TMI !).
So yes!

wrinklytum · 25/03/2007 21:00

ds 8lb5oz
dd 9lb3oz

mytwopenceworth · 25/03/2007 21:01

Lizzylou · 25/03/2007 21:04
