Hi, just wondering if anyone has one of these. I think they must be relatively new as I can't find any reviews on line. I saw it in Mothercare last week and much prefer it to the other options plus you can adjust the height to make it higher at one end incase of colic.

I'm a ftm due in November so would appreciate your feedback. Thanks

Should add as well for anyone reading this who's debating whether to order one I was told that no stock is being held in store, they only have the display one so would all definitely need to be ordered through the online system. Hopefully they sort their stock issues soon, clearly it's been more popular than they originally envisaged!! X

I have the Cozee bedside crib which I have been using for my six week old baby. The side is always unzipped and I think this would be tricky to re-zip as it's attached closely to my bed. I found the incline feature helpful for baby, and simply rolled a blanket in a 'u' shape for support underneath the bed-sheet. The crib itself is very simple/easy to assemble, the only down side I find is that the mattress is very firm so makes the transfer not so great, I have to make sure my Lo is fast asleep otherwise wakes and won't settle, prefers the icandy carrycot perhaps because of size it cocoons baby better. Secondly I had a c-section so in the early days climbing across bed wasn't easy, until I set up a smaller bedside table - this only lasted a short time until I became more mobile. Overall I am pleased with it and think it's good value. I do like being able to reach over for feed/changes in the night saving me from getting out of bed, I feel I can keep a closer eye on her at night this way too.

I finally bought this crib and put it up today to test and I have to say I love it. Very easy to put up and great that it can be used as a travel cot if need be.

I have to share though that my Mothercare experience wasn't the best though very happy it arrived given other people's experiences. I was initially told it would be delivered week commencing 4th sept which was fine as I would be off work and no need to arrange it being sent to my parents address. I happened to be at home one morning last week for another reason and had a text to say it was being delivered that day before 7pm. I'd not had any warning that it was coming a month early and usually wouldn't be at home so I'm guessing it would have been a failed delivery had I been at work. The guy delivering it also just put it through the door whilst I signed and then very quickly disappeared leaving an obviously pregnant lady to move quite a big and heavyish parcel just so I could shut the door.

I do love the crib but it does put me off ordering from Mothercare online again!

Can I ask when you ordered it @pa55methecake (loving the username by the way!!) I caved and went to a Mothercare event last Sunday just to get some money off the Cozee, interestingly I noticed that even though it's apparently the same system they use to order in store as you see online they quoted me 20th August for it to be delivered, whereas the website is still showing out of stock and no dispatch until at least the 25th. Did you get it in Charcoal colour? Given the previous experiences on here I've already assumed I won't get it on the day they say I will but I'd assumed it would come late, not early!! 🙈

Hi mamabubs, I think about 2 weeks after ordering online. Yes I got the charcoal one... you will not be disappointed!

Thanks pass, I'll keep an eye out then! I've just contacted Tutti by email as I've also read some people are receiving Cozees that don't appear to be the same quality as the showroom version in Mothercare, I.e the poppers on the side that folds being replaced by cheap-looking Velcro that's stitched badly... I've just asked if any changes have been made to the product that wouldn't be on the showroom version in Mothercare, touch wood not! I know Velcro seems like such a persnickety thing to get hung up on but when spending that much on a new market product I'd at least like to feel confident that what I see in the shop is what I get through my door! (Whenever it arrives!) 😊

Did anyone receive their Cozee crib? Mothercare emailed me about it yesterday. I wanted to go with the Snuz Pod but it's not tall enough for my very tall bed, so was going to hire the Bed Nest. But then they emailed me the Cozee so I'm not sure now! Hope the cribs arrived before your babies!

Yes Hobojobo I've got mine and it's lovely. Very impressed. Can't say I've noticed a difference in quality between the Mothercare display model, the ones I saw at the Baby Show and the one I've received mummabubs I'm happy with mine Smile

Has anybody bought the mattress protector with this? I've bought the sheets to go with it but not sure if I need the protector aswell as the sheets?

I would like the mattress protector but not sure where you can get it from, is it back in stock on the Mothercare website?

Ha, no surprises here but I've just had a call from Mothercare to say my order will be delayed by at least 2 weeks, taking estimated delivery to 6th September. Clearly they haven't sorted their supply issues! 🙈

They are useless - the only surprise is that they actually contacted you!!! Hope it turns up in time for you!

mummabubs · 18/08/2017 18:33

I hope so MrsBumblebees! I was genuinely quite surprised that they let me know, especially given the one that randomly arrived a month early up thread! They've got 3 weeks leeway from there until Bubbabean is due so fingers crossed they manage to fulfil. They did get back to me about the changes as well and confirmed that they have changed the poppers to Velcro, but insist that this is an improvement as now apparently you can strap the side neatly away when folded down rather than just leaving it to hang??

mummabubs · 18/08/2017 18:38

And their website is still showing it as being out of stock but deliverable from 29th August... clearly not! 😂 You really would have thought that as an exclusive retailer of a product they'd have predicted popularity and got a decent supply sorted! I know a couple of mums who wanted this but ended up going with Snüzpod or Chicco purely as they knew they'd get it before their baby arrived!

It's really poor isn't it, I bet the manufacturers aren't happy! It is one thing to run out of stock on a popular product, but their order fulfillment system/customer care/lack of communication is shocking! Still haven't put mine up yet so hope it looks ok when I get it out of the box! Have ordered the sheets and matress protector now too which are supposedly ready for collection - we shall see!

I was thinking to buy the chicco next2me crib. I like this one, but I am afraid that it may not be able to come close enough to our bed that has a bedside frame that extends further than the mattress (if that makes sense!). The legs may be a problem. The only difference I see between the chicco and this one are the legs setup. Did you notice any other difference?

I want a bedside cot where you can easily put the sides up if you leave the room, I take it the bambini one doesn't allow this? Wish the snuzpod came in a larger size as I really want to use a sleepyhead with it and it'll be way too small.

Report
mummabubs · 20/08/2017 11:13

If it's not still attached to the bed then yes @SophieGiroux, it's really easy to put the side up on the Tutti Bambini! 😊 Don't know if you can put the side up with any of the others if they're attached to the bed either?

I thought you could put the side up on the snuzpod when it's attached to the bed but not 100% sure

Just to add my experience, I ordered the charcoal tutti bambino cozee online on Saturday morning and got an email today to say it's been dispatched. It's currently with yodel so I'm guessing it'll arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.

After hearing about various delays I'm surprised it's coming so quickly! Wasn't going to order it so soon (due December) but didn't want to risk it being delayed if I left it too long.

mummabubs · 21/08/2017 22:29

What the heck?! Glad you're receiving yours Blondie but I don't therefore understand why when I ordered mine (also charcoal) over two weeks ago I'm now being told there's at least a 2 week delay on it arriving?! They need to sort this out!
