Anyone just found out they're preggers and want some buddies?

I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

We also went to the pub with friends with two children and one friend whose partner is pregnant. It was SO HARD not to join in with all their chat about his child. I asked a lot of very intense questions which hubster said would have ordinarily given me away if it hadn't been for the fact that they were all a) male and b) physicists so didn't have a clue!

Has anyone else had this when they just want to TELL THE WORLD but know they can't yet?!

Definitely Claire.....i ended up telling a handful of people at work having had a bit of a Meltdown with another horrible shift (and i was so well.looked after!) - felt bad because I haven't told mum yet but if all ok at the scan today I will...wishing I'd booked it for Friday because getting out of bed is proving tricky.
DH starts his new job today and has totally forgotten about scan....he couldn't come.anyway but he is SO forgetful hoping to surprise him with a scan picture.....

One tiny fuzzy bean wiggling their legs and good heartbeat....10weeks today so EDD is 28/2
Drank way too much water so had to empty half my bladder (I always do that.....) got another scan in 3 weeks for nuchal as I was too early today (I knew I would be but wasn't 100% sure on dates and didn't want to miss the window.)

How is everyone feeling today....after an awful night with the toddler I've been good for absolutely nothing today.....still got a niggly lingering headache too....
On the plus side my DH has just started his new job and it's much more 9-5 rather than constant shifts so I feel like we have a bit of normality and he's around in the evenings to help with toddler bedtime.

But if a personal q this but does anyone know...is it normal to have cramping for a bit after an orgasm? Still having light cramps about 8 hours after one....😳

@CL1982 sorry I totally forgot to reply to your message too. I think it's probably normal. It's so sensitive just now. Is it sore? If it's sore or comes with blood then get it checked out but apart from that then try and not panic. Get your feet up and chill xx

@cl1982 It's not unusual (orgasms release oxytocin which is the same hormone which makes your uterus contract when you're in labour) is it still like that this morning? I would just keep and eye like @MummyG says if it's not sore or any bleeding then I wouldn't worry.

@Amandap looks like a perfect bump for 15+5 - people can be exceptionally unhelpful with comments about bumps.

Feeling loads better this morning. Think I'm just not coping with nights. Toddler is at nursery today - she's been so clingy this last couple of weeks - most unlike her - so I'm having a chilled out day. Bit of sewing, but of chilling on the sofa and a nap.

Hello all. @cl1982 hope things calm down soon. I had this with Olivia. @SS81C congrats on the fab scan pic. It's so lovely to see them full of beans. Waves to everyone else.

So why am I posting? Well, I'm back from Switzerland rather earlier than expected. On our first afternoon I managed to collapse and remain unconscious for 30 mins. Ambulance called, ended up in Swiss hospital. Eventually after some I've fluids and as I emerged to full consciousness over the next few hours they were happy that it wasn't an epileptic fit and we got to check on the little wriggling baby who was bouncing around like nothing had happened. Baby was way more energetic than I was (and had grown from 8+3 size to 9 in 24 hours. Maybe that plus the heat and palaver of travelling caused what was essentially a really deep faint. My German is terrible (especially when semi conscious: lots of Entschuldegung: from my end and the staff describing me as Englkische touristen in die familierweren: ja, (shrug) Kein Deutsch) but "v a. Syncope", which is what the report says, is at least the same.

Luckily collapsing by the train station in luzern isn't si difficult to summon help. However, as I wasn't keen to try out a mountain rescue med evac from lauterbrunnen, or put altitude to the test, and was more keen to get back to being usefully 800m from a world leading hospital we came back. So glad to be home.

Despite > 2/3 the hols being spent unconscious, in hospital or sorting travel insurance (goodness they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery! Couldn't even tell the difference between luzern and Lausanne!) we got to see some of luzern (really pretty) and some mountains (best view of mount pilatus from the kantonspital car park at sunset).

I'm going to have to tell dm that her correspondence was correct aren't I.... (Hides)

Oh blue - how scary - I'm glad you're ok now and yes maybe keep that one from the DM.....luzern is stunning...so I'm glad you got to see a bit of it. Heat is a nightmare when you're preggo.....

Bleugh girls just got a call from doctors to come in and repeat my full blood count bloods as there was a mistake with them
No idea what the mistake is it means I need to get more bloods taken and I hate it. It makes me feel sick 😷😷

Anyone else have to have growth scans? ours start at 28wks had an appointment today to sort everything out, got slightly worried when she said there was a slight trace of blood in my urine sample, but the Dr wasn't worried and I heard little peanuts heartbeat 😀

Don't worry @Lauralou031986 I had growth scans every four weeks with my second pregnancy because my first was five weeks early and weighed 4lbs13. I don't think I will get them this time. What is their reason behind it? Traces of blood normally indicate anytime infection

@mummyGof2boys low BMI, so they just have to check, never had them with my first, not to bothered least get to see baby more she never said anything about infection, she said something about the dipsticks being a problem with em lol she wasn't bothered so not to worried

POAS this morning as AF was a couple of days late but wasn't expecting this AT ALL (have 1 yr olds and periods only just settling back down). Massively hungover (see? Literally no idea!) and totally gobsmacked...
