I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

Grin Nothing, that's the thing :) I'm just angry at everything. The poor people around me!

KerryLeanne84 · 20/07/2017 15:41

Welcome Rozy!

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 16:13

Oh no - yes i know the feeling of rage. I have been mainly crying at stupid things @kerryleanne84 and also worrying over a small amount of odd green mucus that looked like snot I got this morning. What a day.

I burst into tears at 'Shiney Happy People' by REM, one of the most cheerful songs in the world and 'Sisters are doing it for themselves' (WHY?!) over today while in the car. Also worried about MMC as am feeling much less sick today and then mentally slapped self to stop being bloody ridiculous.

All in all a normal day.

@CL1982 did she say what it could be?

rozybelle · 20/07/2017 16:57

@CL1982 hope your Drs appointment goes well, I remember with my first I had the green mucus too and it was just implantation discharge ( sorry tmi lol ) sending lots of love x

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 16:57

@lauralou031986 No - i'm seeing her at 5.45 :S

I'm guessing it's one of three things. 1) A bit of the forming mucus plug 2) An infection like BV or 3) A UI.

Yayyyyyy. I did have it just before my BFPs both this month and last though as well so maybe it's just normal to me....? I will admit, i am drinking a LOT and don't seem to be wee-ing a lot.....

Lauralou031986 · 20/07/2017 17:00

Could be an infection then, it's all such a worrying time isn't it

blueobsessive · 20/07/2017 17:39

Good luck @cl1982 . Will be keeping fingers crossed.
I had odd mucus today too but had put it down to the unreasonably persistent thrush which seems not to be going away.

@KerryLeanne84 - I totally get the angry thing, and the weeping at odd things (especially that little British gas penguin on channel 4 ...)

DH is really keen not to tell our parents yet, but I'm finding it difficult especially as I'm feeling so green

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 17:43

@CL1982 Iv had the yellowish greenish snit discharge for about two weeks now. No itchiness or smell. I know you do get increased discharge while pregnant so I put it down to that. Let us know what she says xx

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 17:44

@mummygof2boys will do!

SS81C · 20/07/2017 18:07

I think doctors always get twitched when you mention that you're pregnant....especially if they think an infection might be involved. I'm sure it's nothing and if it is it might just be a slight infection. Let us know how you get on.
Xxx

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 19:25

So...it's nothing!! Receptionist wrote down 'brown' not green 😂 gP was very nice and said unless there is pain it's highly unlikely to be an infection and to Put Google Down. She said the NHS book is pretty good-it's free to download. Has anyone read it?

OP posts:
SS81C · 20/07/2017 19:29

I have. I think it's fab.....most questions are answered in it and it gives a good stage by stage guid as well.... it's factual....whereas there's a LOT of scaremongering/worst case scenarios on the general internet!
That's good CL.....haha....yes put Google down......(should probably take own advice - haha)

Lauralou031986 · 20/07/2017 19:50

Good news @CL1982

Summerblush1982 · 20/07/2017 20:03

@CL1982 good news. It's so easy to get carried away with google! I'm the same.

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 20:22

@CL1982 that's fab news. Stay away from google lol. You should get the ready steady baby book at your booking in appointment with the
Midwife. Have you had it yet? It's a good book and stakes you up two years old I think

1sttime84 · 20/07/2017 20:25

@CL1982 I felt the same today. Nausea eased up and rather than being relived I got worried. I need to ban myself from googling things. My search history is crazy lol.
Have my first midwife appointment tomorrow. Not sure what to expect.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

KerryLeanne84 · 21/07/2017 09:59

Definitely stop googling everyone :) Some people get ZERO morning sickness the whole time, so not having any one day is definitely not a cause for concern

I know it's super hard though!

Good luck with your midwife appt 1sttime!

1sttime84 · 21/07/2017 13:11

Yes even the midwife today said google is not your friend. Went well but they couldn't draw blood so was sent to the hospital. Did find out though that the hospital have recently changed their policy and they will tell you the sex if you wish to know. Yay 😊

CL1982 · 21/07/2017 13:37

@1sttime84 Good advice! And great news. I'm debating getting the blood test to pick up any chromosomal issues (I think you have to pay for it) and that will give you the sex of the baby...

Actually does anyone have the link to the NHS pregnancy book? I can't seem to find it when i google.....
