I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

I had a cheese and pickle toastie for lunch and it was immense. I feel sick now though 😂😂 typical.

It will definitely start to pop up soon. By eight weeks it starts to pop out the top and is the size of a grapefruit (the uterus. Not baby lol). My forsti didn't start showing until after my twenty week scan, second my my twelve week and this is the third and I'm sure that's me showing now. It's becoming obvious even in flowing maxis.

How's everyone's symptoms today?

SS81C · 19/07/2017 17:04

I had a toddler free day off today and usually I'm busy busy busy housework, shopping and a bit of sewing but all I managed today was laying on the sofa and 6 episodes of vera.......house is a tip. Haha
I thought I was feeling better but I felt awful again this morning and I've been shattered all day.
Hope those of you with sickness are feeling ok. Xx

CL1982 · 19/07/2017 17:12

Does anyone else have some weird twinge activity going on? Obviously i'm worried as i actually wanted to eat today (although still only managed half baked pot and cheese) and don't feel as sick (or i'm timing my eating right now...who knows!). I have some very weird pulsey feelings in my lower abdomen on the right and then occasionally the odd one on the left. Wondering if it's just constipation and trying not to worry too much! Googled things and came up with a lot of stories about MC at around 8 weeks plus. Sigh.

Put the computer down now Claire.....

Oh lady! Twinges are normal, and it could be round ligament pain if it's on the left and right. Only worry if you have severe cramps and / or bleeding ❤️

Lauralou031986 · 19/07/2017 18:20

@CL1982 iv had the twinges thing on my right side low down don't last long think it's normal, try not to google, think it causes more worry, although I am guilty of doing it myself

Summerblush1982 · 19/07/2017 19:04

I'm due on 14th march. But, the other day I had pains in my belly but no bleeding. Went to see the doc and he referred me to gynae for a scan for peace of mind. Had that today and they had to use the wand to detect it. Saw the little heart beating!!! It was tiny!!!!!

Lauralou031986 · 19/07/2017 19:11

Glad everything is ok @Summerblush1982 Smile

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 07:48

Morning ladies, woke up this morning bleeding. Had sex with hubby last night so I think it's that but still called the maternity unit. They are reassured That I'm not in pain and it's not soaking through. Just spotting. To keep an eye on the bleeding and the pain and if it gets worse to call back

Lauralou031986 · 20/07/2017 08:06

@mummyGof2boys hope everything is ok, try not to worry I'm sure it's normal

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 08:25

@mummygof2boys hope it's calmed down now? I know sex can cause spotting...

Thanks girls. It's starting to ease off already. It's just bloody scary isn't it. As soon as you see blood you think the worse. I have a cervical ectropian too which can cause bleeding if aggravated and it caused a lot of scary bleeding early on in my second pregnancy.

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 11:27

Very scary. I'm so glad it's letting up. Are they having you in to take a look?

I'm feeling less sick today and instead of feeling relieved for the let up, feel worried. I don't think the worry every ends in this first trimester. Stupid thing is, this might just be normal for my level of morning sickness and i've had a few bad days if that makes sense. I'm glad we're being scanned again next week. I haven't been too worried up to now but i guess sh*t is getting real and i'm enjoying it!

Thanks everyone on the help with the twinges. They have eased up. Had some super big ones this morning when i got up which was weird.

@CL1982 no they don't want to see me. Just to keep an eye on it and if gets heavier or sore to call back. The twinges arentthey. Especially if you move fast or sneeze 😳😳

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 12:19

@CL1982 hit send before I was finished. The worrying never ends. It just changes lol and then gets worse when the baby arrives 😂😂 wait for mum guilt to kick in. It's bloody awful 😂😂

Lauralou031986 · 20/07/2017 12:44

Oh mum guilt is the worse lol

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 12:51

@Lauralou031986 mum guilt is horrendous

SS81C · 20/07/2017 13:29

I remember in my first pregnancy Thinking....ill stop worrying when I get to 12 weeks, then it was 20 week scan....then it was 28 weeks then I'll stop worrying when the baby arrives.. . I still get up in the middle of the night to check she's breathing - she's nearly 2.....not sure the worrying ever ends!!! Mum guilt is horrendous. My terrible toddler is a bit trying at the moment. We've just had a horrendous morning in town and I'm now sat in the ikea car park because she's asleep and I'm so seeing if I just go home....even though we need something because I can't face her waking up in a bad mood....and then the mum guilt is awful because I get cross with her.
Never ends! Haha!

CL1982 · 20/07/2017 13:43

I will admit the toddler bit is the only bit that scares the shit out of me!! They are just so unreasonable....

KerryLeanne84 · 20/07/2017 13:52

SS That is dawning on me too! I know my mum still worries about me - so it basically never stops from here on out!

Lauralou031986 · 20/07/2017 13:52

@SS81C I'm with you on the worry my 3year old always wakes up and ends up in our bed ( not ideal but it's not forever) and on the occasions he sleeps through I wake up worrying if he's ok and why he hasn't come through lol

KerryLeanne84 · 20/07/2017 13:53

Mummy sorry to hear that, I hope it's all okay! We had sex for the first time since finding out and I was very worried about spotting too though I didn't get any. Apparently it's because of increased blood flow to the cervix

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 14:13

My four year old and three year old are totally unreasonable. And very naughty just now. I feel like I'm shouting at them all the time. Then the mum guilt of being a bad mum kicks in 😱😱 I haven't had any more spotting since this morning so fingers crossed it was because of sex. That's what the midwife said, even a tiny bit or irritating the cervix and it can bleed as so sensitive but normal sex shouldn't cause miscarriage. Not sure what you class at normal sex 😂😂😂

KerryLeanne84 · 20/07/2017 15:16

I have a new symptom today.... I am very, VERY, ANGRY!

mummyGof2boys · 20/07/2017 15:21

@KerryLeanne84 😳😳 oh dear. My moods haven't really been affected this time apart from the odd crying at to etc. What's happened?

rozybelle · 20/07/2017 15:28

Hi! I'm new here but 5wks 4days with my second little one ( eeek! ) I'm guessing my DD is around March 18th! Xx
