I am sitting here waiting to go for an early scan at lunchtime, I had really light spotting last night (am 10 wks) and a little this morning. Went to the docs who got me booked in straight away to get checked out. This has all happened so quickly I am not coping very well...

I know you must be very worried, but hopefully all will be well.
Sending you positive vibes, mandler.
Is anyone going to the scan with you?

Oh poor you, I have a dating scan Friday and no bleeding yet I am so scared I almost dont want Friday to come, so I cannot imagine how you must feel, especially as it has happened quite quickly.

Good luck, I really hope all is ok

Good luck mandler. I too had light spotting at 9 and a half weeks, had a scan and all was well. Hope it goes well for you.

I hope everything goes well for you at the scan.

I know how you are feeling. I'm 8wks & have had light brown spotting for the past 3 days & my community m/w has just arranged for me to have a scan at our EPU tomorrow morning.

Part of me is terrified to go, but then it's better knowing now if there's a problem I guess rather than worrying for potentially 4 more weeks until my dating scan....

Just back and now looking at a pic of our baby! The right size, heartbeat present so all seems well. I do though have almost like a 'bruise' from implantation which is apparently common and goes away. This prob caused the bleeding so hopefully is the same for you tomorrow. How unpredicatble is pregnancy - last night fine, today went through doctor, much crying, hospital and saw our baby all in the space of a few hours!

Doing well - just had a good 12 week scan yesterday so very pleased! It's hard to keep up with the antenatal thread, isn't it? Only managing it 'cos I'm quiet at work at the moment!

Oh congratulations! I am managing to work from home today, thankfully, as have horrible stomach upset. I think yesterday's rollercoaster was too much for me!

I have only just seen this thread but wanted to say how pleased I am that things went well I know how nerve wracking bleeds and early scans can be. Take good care of yourself!

mandler, i had bleeding from 10 weeks to around 14 weeks ( a month - on and off) with my DS,now aged 21 months. The most awful rollercoaster experience I have ever been through, but mumsnets was and is wonderfully comforting, because unfortunately, so many people on here have been through it. Keep calm, keep still and look after yourself, so glad you have seen a heartbeart and had a good scan. Giulia.

back from my scan

All is well & we have a heartbeat. I'm measuring a couple of days behind but they say that's nothing to worry about.

Phew

Glad you got good news too mandler, it's such a relief isn't it?

Really hope the scan goes well there must be quite a few scans on the October thread as most people must be hitting the 12 week mark (that would have been me today ) fingers crossed for the rest of the golden piglets x

Oh Mrs, its such a crap time for you right now I really feel for you. My gp who I saw after 2nd mc said the only thing that would make me feel better would be a positive 12 week scan and I think she is right.

I will do a little dance of joy when I see you post that you are pg again
