Am 7+5 with 2nd baby. Morning sickness kicked in about a week ago. Fun! However as a little added bonus, due to my complete lack of pelvic floor, not only am I chucking my guts up first thing, I'm also being treated to a little trickle gush down my legs with each heave. FML. I can't cope with the glamour!

So, ladies, HEED THE ADVICE!!! Do your kegels!!! It's too late for me 😭

Yup the struggle is real :( I am lucky that my MS has been much more bearable this time round and went away at about 14 weeks, but do remember coming to OH, teared up and snotty, to announce that I had wee'd myself and been sick Blush

Ugh, reminds me of the horrendous morning sickness I had with my third child. Not only did I once projectile vomit across a packed train carriage, I pissed myself at the same time. I had to waddle off at the next stop, wrap my coat around my waist and call a taxi to take me straight home. The glamour.

MummyPigLovesAppleSauce · 01/06/2017 20:40

Yup, the highlight of my Hyperemesis pregnancy was DD2 was vomiting 25 times while sat in a puddle of my own urine... oh the glamour

Thanks for adding to my list of reasons not to have a second!

Wonderflonium · 01/06/2017 21:27

oh yes, vomming in the shower in the morning and peeing at the same time. I'd forgotten about that.

PatMustardsBigTool · 01/06/2017 21:32

Glad to help, fan!

I am sorry for laughing at this but I am
So glad it wasn't just me. I didn't have MS (lucky I know) but I had bad food poisoning about 30wks in. The feeling of vomiting and pissing myself simultaneously was miserable!

Hotpinkangel19 · 01/06/2017 22:26

Ugh! This is me! I daren't be sick in case I wee!!!!! Confused

2ducks2ducklings · 01/06/2017 23:13

It's a wonderful, magical time. This has regularly happened to me, even if I've been to the loo seconds before hand.

kikibo · 02/06/2017 11:33

Thankfully this was only when I hadn't gone to the loo in the morning and if I was hugging the toilet bowl in squat position. So I learned after a while not to get up and put new underwear on before the toilet and to sit on my knees with my knees together. That helped.

GeorgiePeachie · 02/06/2017 12:18

Does this happen with the first pregnancy as well?

honeysucklejasmine · 02/06/2017 12:22

Depends how good your pelvic floor is, Georgie, and where baby is squashing at the time.

This happened to me the other day OP. And I got vomit on my t shirt. Sexy.

sparechange · 02/06/2017 12:27

Vomming and only pissing yourself?
Amateurs...

ChickenBhuna · 02/06/2017 12:33

Great thread!

I am having sneezing fits due to allergies that I'm unable to control with strong antihistamines. I have to rush to the toilet when sneezing to avoid wetting myself.

Most glamorous moment was 38 weeks, carpal tunnel in both wrists so had to wear wrist splints. Looked like something out of
dodgy s and m film. Nasal strip across nose to stop snoring. Heartburn to put the icing on the cake.

EdgarAllenPoe · 02/06/2017 13:45

I decided to combine early pregnancy with a chest infection because I'm an over-achiever that way. I didn't suffer terrible ms (other than feeling nauseous all the time) but every time I had a coughing fit, hacking up phlegm made me puke. Phlegmy puke. Nice. Thankfully at 15 weeks my nausea and cough have both cleared up.

user1471532894 · 02/06/2017 14:15

A bucket or sick bowl is your friend. That way you can sit on the loo whilst your being sick!

haveacupoftea · 02/06/2017 15:08

lol yeah I remember the puking and peeing myself. Funny I never wet myself after week 12 despite preparing myself for a lifetime of incontinence. Now I've had my baby I'm amazed every day at how good it feels not to have to pee every ten minutes!

Courtneybrown · 03/06/2017 21:13

I was sick in my bucket during the night and completely wet the bed with ny 2nd pregnancy tried to blame it on my 2 year old son at the time the fact that he was completely dry though my partner didn't buy it lol as he woke up wet 😭 this happened twice lol x
