Am 7+5 with 2nd baby. Morning sickness kicked in about a week ago. Fun! However as a little added bonus, due to my complete lack of pelvic floor, not only am I chucking my guts up first thing, I'm also being treated to a little trickle gush down my legs with each heave. FML. I can't cope with the glamour!

So, ladies, HEED THE ADVICE!!! Do your kegels!!! It's too late for me 😭

2 words - obstetric physiotherapist.

Seventeen weeks here. I have moved on from the morning sickness and squirting with every retch. I am now enjoying hay fever and squirting with every sneeze.

Also, and this is most annoying one, everytime I go for a wee I think I have finished, have a wipe and wee on my own hand. Every pissing time.

AnUtterIdiot - you could be me. I feel like I've had a personality transplant as hate all my formerly favourite foods, and need to pee or dry heave constantly.

Anyone else enjoying the fun game I like to call 'have I woken up with a sweaty crotch, or have I wet the bed?'.

StrawbRhi · 05/06/2017 06:41

I thought I could be as smug as I liked because I'd done my kegels since I was 14 years old and other than a sneezing incident at adventure golf at 35 weeks I've not had any problems.

However, I've just had DD on Friday morning but got a resurgence of MS about 5 days before she was born. Unfortunately it came with very loose bowels too, which became apparent to DH and I when I was sat on the bed naked and heaving into a bucket Blush

That put me straight.

Pr1mr0se · 05/06/2017 10:26

AnUtterIdiot - it will get better and fairly soon too.

OP the most valuable lesson I learnt with DC1 & DC2 was (if possible) remove any clothes you don't want to get covered in piss and try (again if possible) and wee before throwing up Wetting myself was my first pregnancy symptom with DC2. 37 weeks and still regularly throwing up and weeing myself. The fight is real!

PerpetualStudent · 05/06/2017 10:57

I have pregnancy-induced migraines. Everytime I sneeze I have to choose between tensing up to stop the pee, and getting a blinding flash of headache, or not tensing to avoid the pain, but letting a bit of pee out....
Got to be honest, at home I often go for the pain-free-bit-of-wee option.
16 more weeks to go, FML...

Natsku · 05/06/2017 11:03

Had that problem with my first pregnancy. After wetting myself a few times I took to pulling down my pants and holding a wad of loo roll against my fanjo whenever I had to vomit.

No vomiting so far with this pregnancy (only 6+2 though) so no weeing myself incidents yet. Though did have a non-pregnancy wee incident a few weeks ago when I foolishly attempted a long jump Blush

I'm sorry to come & piss on your parades people, but for some of you it won't get any better once you've had the baby!

12 days after giving birth & it's worse than ever. I'm not even being sick or sneezing, I feel like I need to wee, get up to go to the toilet & by the time I've got there half of it has just poured out by itself... thank god for big old maternity pads Hmm
