Please help!!!!

Please help I think I may be pregnant but I don't know I have a strange metallic taste in my mouth and my nipples and round my nipples is tender this is the first time I've been pregnant and I don't know if it's all in my head I haven't been with my boyfriend very long and I feel so stupid for getting pregnant so soon now isn't a great time for me to have a baby and I don't want to do a test because am too scared about the answer. Please be gentle with me.

Just do the test, all your symptoms could be pregnancy related but at least you'll know one way or another.

You need to do a test, no one on here can tell you if you're pregnant. You may be panicking over nothing. Good luck

Thanks Monkeypuzzle32 I know I need to just to put my mind at rest I just feel so stupid and not sure if it's all just my mind playing tricks on me. I will have to do a test at some point and stop putting it off just really frightened right now.

You have options but I guess you need to bite the bullet and do the test. Good luck. Hope it's negative but if it isn't, take some time to think.

leavesabdberries if it's not negative then I will accept it and figure out how to manage. But I guess there is only one way to find out so I just need to bite the bullet and do the test. Thank you. Either way this will teach me a lesson.

No not yet Monkeypuxzzle32 I bought 3 tests today. Spoke to my boyfriend yesterday he said he would kill me if I was pregnant which makes me feel no better about the situation but am not the only one to blame for this mess.

well, get rid of him then! Being shocked, annoyed or angry is understandable but 'he'd kill you'? does he understand about the birds & bees?!
I wouldn't put up with any man threatening me like that.

He was only joking but if he's not going to be happy about it then I will gladly go it alone. He knew the risks as well as I did I had told him that my pill wasn't working properly because of the antibiotics for the chest infection I had he refused to use a condom so we risked it and now am wishing we hadn't. He thinks that I would just stop taking my pill without telling him just to get pregnant I've been on it for 2 years and I would never ever dream of doing that to someone.

Two problems.
One a boyfriend who wanted to play fertility roulette by not wearing a condom but blames you for getting pregnant
Two is a possible unplanned pregnancy. First get rid of boyfriend.
Second find out if you are pregnant.
Then think about what's right for you.

i had an odd metallic taste when i was pregnant with my first. it was the first sign and appeared pretty much as soon as a got pregnant (and before I could have done a test).

OuchBollocks yeah it was his idea to have unprotected sex I can only assume that he failed his sex ed lessons and doesn't realise that's how people get pregnant.

ExplodedCloud if I am pregnant it might be the end of us because he won't be happy about it and it will probably somehow be my fault because ya know he can't be blamed for any of this in his mind anyway. I will find out soon and then have a good think about what's best for me I already know that abortion isn't an option so looks like I will be a single working mum which am happy to do.

MynameIsNotYourName thank you I might need the support of the mumsnet army. I have always wanted children just not in this way. I will do the tests and let everyone know what result I get. Am just not sure if it's too early yet.

Why on earth did you agree to having unprotected sex? Get tested for STDs after the pg test.

MyNamesNotYourName I don't know is the honest answer. Because I take the pill I don't have periods so I have no clue which isn't really helpful.

Wolfiefan I know it was stupid you don't need to tell me that and I will be getting STI checked as well.

It is not cut and dry. Symptom spotting isn't all that reliable to tell if you're pregnant. Hopefully you will know when you have done the test.

If you're pregnant, it might be the end of you? Because he would be annoyed and break up with you? There is so much wrong with this situation. Regardless of what the test says, I would flee from this guy. He pressured you into having unprotected sex and then said he would kill you if you are pregnant? Alarm bells are ringing! Poor you. I hope you have some RL support too op?

Rockaby am just going off what Google said but I could be wrong I don't know I really have no idea what symptoms you get or don't get this would be my first baby. It might be because I just know he won't be happy about it but am not the only one who might've got us in to this mess. Thank you I do I've got my sister she's the only other person who knows that I might be pregnant. Wish I could bury my head in the sand and pretend none of this happened.

Take the tests. The sooner you know, the sooner you can do something about it - but I agree with the others here, pregnant or not, I'd get shot of the boyfriend. You aren't his property and he should be treating somebody he is supposed to love with a damn sight more respect. You can do FAR better.

Has it been two weeks since the unprotected sex if so u can't do a test today , u might get a negative and everything is fine or a positive and he may come round to the Idea

AnUtterIdiot thank you that's what am wondering is it all just in my head and am not pregnant am just not sure and was too scared to do a test. I will do a test and see what it says and get ready to kick myself if it's positive. Thank you I have tried to cover myself think am just feeling really stupid right now but whatever happens it's a reality check for me.
