Which prams did use all choose? I'm pregnant with baby no.3 (surprise baby), got rid of most of my stuff for previous pregnancies so having to get new one.

Which pram are use going with, already have? Any recommendations?

I really liked icandy peach but saw the silvercross wave today and bit on the fence now Grin

Yep we had the bugaboo from birth and yes they are expensive but brilliant! Very safe and secure. And same had it for about 3 years and gave away. Not sure I will have the same with the new baby. They all look good Smile I think as long as they are safe and well made for baby and look good

AntagonyAunt · 21/05/2017 22:53

I had an iCandy Raspberry. Great for nipping round indoors but rickety outdoors and the brake broke after 6 months.
Now I have a Bugaboo Cam. Bit of a faff to get in and out of the car and definitely wouldn't get on the bus with it but for parks, farms, Brighton pier etc the smoother ride that the large wheels provide is great.

RaeSkywalker · 21/05/2017 22:56

Yay Urgle! I think we got ours at about 16 weeks because the discount was so good Blush I wish they did events I could attend now- we're just gearing up to buy a next stage car seat.

Summerisdone · 21/05/2017 23:18

I went with a cream leatherette Emmaljunga Mondial travel system. It really is quite beautiful and pushes like a dream, but I definitely fell into the 'first time mum' stereotype by buying a luxurious pram for how it looks and not practicality Confused
It was so big that it was a nightmare to fit into the cars and getting a bus was even worse as they weren't disable/pram friendly where I live a couple of years ago.
That has since changed since Arriva took over the service though so I would have no problem getting on the bus now.

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 22/05/2017 09:05

@Purpletoes Ooo Were you using you the Vista mostly for the City or the Country? I'm struggling to find an all-terrain that ticks all the other boxes. Confused

Purpletoes · 22/05/2017 09:23

Mostly city but did take on country walks etc it was ok but leaves tended to get trapped in the small front wheels which was annoying having to stop to remove as it would slow it down.

tabithaa · 22/05/2017 11:42

Summerisdone - My first pram was ridiculous lol, like you couldn't get on the bus, couldn't get it in the car as it didn't fold and struggled to get it in the house haha. Thankfully managed to sell for a great price and got a lot of my money back....never again, lol!!

Thanks everyone, use have just made my decision a lot harder haha. Don't plan going until 27 - 30 weeks so couple months to wait.

I have the mountain buggy terrain which is fantastic for off roading but it is big! I found the mountain buggy range lovely to steer, urban jungle is nice and light.
Cousin in law has an icandy and they aren't impressed with it, though didn't say why.

kavanaughkj · 22/05/2017 11:55

I may have fallen into the first time mum trap of buying something for how it looks - haven't tried using it yet as waiting on new arrival but it's quite a hefty buggy. Bought a Cosatto Ooba in Fox Tale print - I love the prints they offer and it looked decent quality, but it's pretty heavy and I can imagine would be an utter pain to navigate with around public transport or cramped shops. Luckily I'm not in London and mostly plan to use it going around the local heath, where the heavy duty wheels will come in handy - and the supermarkets, where space shouldn't be an issue. I bought the buggy before a car though so I now have to buy a car that will fit the buggy in it!

willothewisp17 · 22/05/2017 11:57

I got the ickle bubba v3 travel system, haven't used it yet as 10 weeks to due date but it looks fantastic and was great value for money!

Oysterbabe · 22/05/2017 12:13

Don't worry Kavan I bloody love my Ooba.
It really comes into its own when you move on to the stroller part. The baby is such a nice height and position and it's great that you can flip the handle up and push it up to tables in cafes. It is heavy though. Lots of hills round here so it's been good for fitness 😂💪

kavanaughkj · 22/05/2017 12:18

Smile That's reassuring, thanks Oysterbabe! And I'm thinking I'll need all the help I can get to work off excess baby poundage so maybe the heaviness isn't such a bad thing Grin

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 22/05/2017 12:36

Thanks @Purpletoes Smile v helpful

DebsOctBaby · 22/05/2017 13:57

I've gone for a mee-go milano as it's just beautiful to look at and a dream to push. Not the smallest in the world but still manageable for me

dippypanda · 22/05/2017 14:12

I've gone for the Baby Jogger City Mini GT, didn't want a travel system as feel they are small seat wise and don't last as long (my experience with my first) managed to get a carrycot second hand for £30 and it's in "as new" condition

MusicToMyEars800 · 22/05/2017 14:15

The pram I chose was a Mothercare own brand, paid £250 for it and it came with the car seat and carry cot it had a massive basket and handy little storage bits, I loved it, it was big and sturdy and I used it for both my dds. I will see if it's still on the website and post a link.

babysurprise14 · 22/05/2017 18:50

Just ordered the Ickle Bubba v3 on reviews as budget was under £500, it's on order for delivery in June, but all the reviews looked fab and it literally comes with everything! Good luck with choosing Smile

FlapAttack88 · 22/05/2017 19:13

Nipper out and about .. best thing since sliced bread . Had one for my 1st and have never cone across a better pram and have pushed a lot of friend and family prams which were awful in comparison and twice the price!

Soo easy to push and steer and goes over all terrains

Tigger001 · 22/05/2017 22:55

Eleanor I am hoping to buy this pray in sat. Would you be able to give me your opinion on using it ..fitting in car etc

BridgetDarcy · 22/05/2017 23:48

Stokke xplory - absolutely love it!

eleanor1989 · 23/05/2017 08:24

tigger001

Its pleasant to use. Turns really easily. It is a bit bulky though if your intending to use it on public transport (I haven't done this) and it doesn't fold as compact as some prams do. It is a sturdy comfortable pram though, especially the carry cot. My child was born in winter and it kept.my newborn very warm Smile

eleanor1989 · 23/05/2017 08:28

tigger001 fits I'm our boot but may not it in a small car. The pram will only fold with the seat facing away from the parent. We just take the sest off the chassis and put in seperate as it fits better.

tatohead · 23/05/2017 08:33

Bugaboo chameleon, I love it so much. Mainly because it's so easy to steer, is versatile and can keep it parent facing - I HATE not being able to talk to my dd properly when she's in my cheapo stroller forward facing.

It's worth looking out for cash back deals. I got it from peppermint with a good deal in the January sales.

BringMeTea123 · 23/05/2017 09:22

Hi

We went for the icandy peach. I love that the frame is bulkey and sturdy. Yet it's still compact and light weight. It's all terrain too, not that we do any rambling but have taken it across the fields and through the woods with the dog and the suspension is amazing, my son has stayed sleeping in it while being pushed through rough terrain.

Amazing in shopping centres etc too as the steering is so light, you can steer and push with one hand! I couldn't recommend it enough. It doesn't fold with the chair attached but the frame does fold really small and free standing, I can fit it in the boot of my 107!!! The carrycot is safe for overnight sleeping (not that he ever did) but nice to know that when he fell asleep in it I could just click it off and leave him in it to nap.

It's easy to use, unfold, fold, attach the carrycot/chair/car seat (you will need the car seat attachments only cost around £30 though). Handle adjusts nicely. Will suit a child apparently up to 3 years old. (My son is 7 months). I love my Icandy I'll be sad when he no longer needs it or doesn't want to be in it anymore lol.

Sorry for such a long post but is highly recommend 😊
