Which pram are use going with, already have? Any recommendations?

I really liked icandy peach but saw the silvercross wave today and bit on the fence now Grin

I've got a Joolz geo. it's good for off road and village walks which is what I needed but is big and heavy to get in and out of the car.

crumble82 · 21/05/2017 19:48

I've got the Uppababy Vista. It's really sturdy, it's nearly 4 years old now and has been in continuous use as we now have DD2. Despite the size it's easy to push one handed while holding on to your toddler (far easier than the maclaren) and the basket is massive. The only downsize is you need a big boot!

Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip XT. I was very unwell when pregnant and the Armadillo and iCandy Peach were the only ones I was strong enough to lift at the time! We went for the Armadillo because we got a great discounts a parenting event.

We've just got an amazing deal on a ex display Silver Cross Surf 2. I'm
So excited, it's our 2nd, and ticks all the boxes, I hated my firsts pram a Bugaboo chameleon, it was so heavy, crap brake system and ridiculously big to dismantle and put in the car.
I'm so excited to use this in 3 months!

helenfagain · 21/05/2017 19:58

Joie chrome. Folds tiny, easy to push, huge basket and very reasonably priced. Hate the silver cross stroller we have had to replace it with (ds is huge so hit 15kg at 18 months).

Urglewurgle · 21/05/2017 20:03

Rae, we've just bought the M&P Armadillo Flip today at an event! Only 24 weeks so bit of a wait to use it...

NapQueen · 21/05/2017 20:04

If I had a surprise baby now id get the Armadillo flip.

HabbyHadno · 21/05/2017 20:05

Sparkly, what colour Orange did you get? I'm waiting for the Topaz one, but it's due out pretty much bang on my EDD.

Sparklyuggs · 21/05/2017 20:07

Habby I got mine in John Lewis who only stock carbon and orange, I've got carbon (dark grey). I debated buying the topaz (blue?) Colour pack but I'm not sure I can justify the cost. If I have baby 2 I might do then :)

LapinR0se · 21/05/2017 20:09

I inherited my sister's bugaboo chameleon which is great for little babies, one-handed steering and naps.
Then I got a maclaren techno xt for nursery runs and airports etc. It's very light and easy to fold but not great for naps on the go I find.

flumpybear · 21/05/2017 20:21

Good luck!!!
We got a Quinney which was brilliant!! I'd probably go for something now (9 years later) that had more storage space though as we live really near our local high street and loved shopping at the local stores - Quinney had very little space for shopping.

Inmust say the Quinney later two kids, both used it for at least 3.5 years old each so we had it 7 years in total so a good buy

Lemondrop99 · 21/05/2017 20:27

We're planning on getting the Bugaboo Bee as lightweight and is narrow enough to fit through our hallway, in our car boot and on London buses!

weegiemum · 21/05/2017 20:35

Maclaren, don't know name, but lie-back buggy suitable from birth. Cost £89 in 2000 and did 3 children then was passed on.

Not what you normally hear on pram threads. I also never had a double, used sling or backpack.

HabbyHadno · 21/05/2017 20:46

I was going to do that exact same thing Sparkly, I loved the buggy but I didn't want it in orange and they didn't have the carbon one on show.

eleanor1989 · 21/05/2017 20:48

We have a Silvercross wayfarer Chelsea. It was one designed only for mothercare and took 10 weeks to arrive!!

confusedat23 · 21/05/2017 21:54

We've just bought the Cosatto Giggle 2 at the baby show... i love that you get everything with it and that is so light and easy to fold etc

NotAnotherUserName5 · 21/05/2017 21:58

Icandy peach. It's my second icandy peach, as I had one with my son. Tried and tested I can honestly say it's great!

Can't wait to use it with baby #4.

Purpletoes · 21/05/2017 22:01

We have tge uppababy vista 5 years now. Been brilliant for ds 5 and dd age 2. Think end of summer I won't be able to use it anymore as dd is miss independent. Not sure how i will cope without its gigantic basket. Wink
Expensive but worth every penny. Used almost continuously for 5 years.

user1491262044 · 21/05/2017 22:07

I had the bugaboo cameleon with my first not sure what I am gonna get this time.

TryingNotToWaddle · 21/05/2017 22:08

I got the Cosatto giggle 2
Brilliant design- I'm always getting stopped by people saying they love it and it is smooth to push... however having used it for 6 months I will say it's a bit fiddly to lie baby back and fold etc. so I wouldn't purchase again given the chance.

user1491262044 · 21/05/2017 22:11

But the bugaboo was amazing Smile the icandy and cassatto giggle both look good, I have looked at both with my mum.

user1491262044 · 21/05/2017 22:14

OK cool, thanks for that about the cossatto giggle Smile I really don't know what I am gonna get lol

IamMoana · 21/05/2017 22:16

Bugaboo Cameleon 3. Was £850 did her from birth & still going strong at 2.5 yr. if I had my choice again would chose the same - it's fantastic.

user1491262044 · 21/05/2017 22:16

Are most people from London on here?

MissisBee · 21/05/2017 22:23

I have joie chrome. Only been using it week but love it. Very easy to push and manoeuvre, fits through doorways, really easy to fold up. A bit heavy still for me to lift on my own at 2 weeks post- caesarean. Got a great deal from a local supplier including car seat and isofix base
