Hand hold please.

I'd appreciate some hand holding. Currently 7weeks but started bleeding this morning. One big red clot then brown, been cramping for about half an hour now. I've had a mc before (5yrs ago) and this is very similar, but I am booked in with the EPU at 4pm. DH is stuck at work, I don't know what to do or how to fill the time between then and now.

I'm here mama. Only 2 hours to go, maybe break it down in to small chunks/steps of what you need to do to get to the waiting room?

Thank you. Have just had a shower so getting dressed and tidying up a bit.

I was so excited about having a Christmas baby.

I'm here too. I know it's hard but have you managed to eat any lunch? If you can't face food please make sure you are drinking.

Tidying up is a good distraction but don't tire yourself too much. If you can maybe put some tv on. Even a repeat of something just to escape from your head a bit and make the time pass.

Or maybe read some mumsnet classics to pass the time.

Handholding here too. Have read loads of stories on here of bleeding mums where it turned out ok. Is scary though.

Handholding, I had a huge bleed +clots at 8 weeks, scan was positive and heartbeat a week later, currently 40 weeks with same little bean. Positive thoughts for you.

Thank you all. Especially for the positive stories, but I'm thinking that if I expect the worse then I won't be disappointed.

Just waiting to be called now. Desperate for a wee but was told to have a full bladder. Very busy here.

I still don't really have an answer. We could see a sac but nothing in it. Mainly brown blood when wiping so nurse thinks either the beginning of mc or my dates are a bit out. Got to go back for another scan in a week.

Since I've been back I've had a bit of a heavier bleed so it's not looking good.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Not knowing can be agony.

Keep posting here if you want a distraction at any point. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to look yet but there is also a lot of good support and advice on the miscarriage support threads.

Of course the most beneficial is rl support so I hope you are able to have dh back home soon and maybe confide in a few close people? Again understand you may not want to go down that road at the moment.

I'm in limbo now and I have no idea how to feel. One minute I'm convinced it's over, then I wonder if there's still a chance. I'm impatient so this is going to be torture.

Warm bath and some paracetamol and an early night.

The not knowing is pure hell.

In bed with Ben and Jerry's and a box set. Taken paracetamol as I'm aching from the internal scan. No more red blood.

How awful to be left waiting. Fingers crossed for you. Ben and Jerry's plus film sounds ideal.
