Lapin - I was referred to a dietician this time around. She just told me what foods to eat (anything that sounds appealing) and gave me some nutritional powder to try (was far from appealing). The best part was I am on their books, and if I hadn't gained any weight they were going to admit me and feed me via nasal gastro tube. Go see them anyways, just be prepared to hear stuff that you're already doing.
Haich - I have a trapped nerve in my shoulder that's causing a similar feeling, I see the chiro once a month for it. Check with midwife and she should be able to tell you who to contact.
Sorry I forgot you have SPD. Will try and think of SPD easy activities for DS. My DD loves it when I turn on some music and she has a dance party while I lie on the sofa. I make her dance with her stuffed animals so she doesn't pester me.
Kate - I had to tell my manager at 4.5w last time due to working with dangerous chemicals. I was pulled out of the lab immediately, so by the time I was signed off sick at 5w, everyone I worked with already knew. Told close family at 7w, when I had my diagnosis. And then refused to tell anyone else unless I had to until DD was born. It was really hard having everyone know from so early on, but I took comfort in the fact that if I was so sick, with such high hormone levels, there was a good chance baby would stick. We've told only those that need to know this time around, mostly just close family and a couple of friends. It's because I classify pregnancy as a terrible illness, so don't want to announce anything until I feel well and baby is safely in my arms. As I don't get a visible bump till 3rd trimester, I get a lot of surprised friends when baby arrives.
Holly - hope you're feeling better with the ondansetron. I had my SIL due the day before me last pregnancy, and we were compared constantly and she didn't feel nauseous once. It's really hard to have pregnant friends at the same time you're so ill (hence we don't tell people if we don't have to). I also vowed to only have one. But then DD started sleeping through the night, walking and being so independent, that we considered a second and bam! Definitely no more. Two is plenty!
Oklahoma - that hormone induced amnesia is good stuff. I'm freaking about labour this time around, because I can only remember screaming for an epidural, so it was bad, but I can't remember how bad.
Pippa - I can do grapes, and apricots and at the end of pregnancy, oranges. I find over the course of pregnancy my taste buds change, and I think I'm about to start being able to eat more foods now. Experts also recommend eating foods that babies would start on, like purees. Puréed Apple is meant to be the least offensive.
Me - hubby flies out on his business trip today. So starts 10 days of just me and DD. Only concerned about the meal times and the lack of energetic interaction she might get (mama is pretty lazy when it comes to play).
