How soon is too soon to buy pram?!

Hi everyone! I'm 17+4 and the pram I've had my eye on for a few weeks has got an extra 10% off this weekend which saves me about £70! I'm keen to buy it but have heard it's bad luck to buy the pram too early! How soon is too soon to buy pram or am I over thinking it? When did you all buy your prams? Any advice would be great! (FYI this will be the first thing we've bought)

You'd be daft not to get it with 10% off despite what some crazy people say. Get it!

I got mine at 29 weeks. I heard it's bad luck to have it in the house so mine lives at my mums.

I can keep it at OH's mums so won't be in the same house, I just didn't want to buy too early! I think I'm going to just go for it Smile

I bought mine 2 weeks ago, around 30 weeks, I might have bought sooner if I'd decided sooner, like you I got a good deal and that was what made me just buy it then and there!
I don't believe in bad luck! Some shops will hold them until baby arrives, or if you can store at your mums then perfect! £70 can then be spend on some other needed items!

Buy the pram. If anything does go wrong (and it won't) it won't be because you bought a pram. Enjoy your good deal.

I'll be buying mine next month when I'm 34 weeks.
Purely because we will have the cash then...and I can't decide!
I would jump on a bargain-£70 can buy you lots of other baby things Smile

I found a pram I loved heavily discounted when I was 7 weeks pg so I bought it. We had space in the loft so if anything had gone wrong I wouldn't have had to stare at it.

I think I'd bought everything by the time I was 17 weeks. Not so much second time round

I'd buy it, as others said, if something happens it won't be because you bought a pram. Same for keeping it in your house!

Mine's been under the stairs in my house since about 26 weeks. The only nod towards the ludicrous superstition stuff is that I'm keeping it in its box until baby is safely here. That's not because I think it will make one jot of difference to baby's safe arrival but because if something did happen to go wrong with baby I don't want to come home to be faced with an empty pushchair sitting there.

Glad you decided to go for it. We bought ours at about 12 weeks into the pregnancy as it was half price in the sales.

I bought mine at 11 weeks as had mega deal and got massive money off in January sales! Be crazy not to save money.... £70 isa lot of money and can go towards other baby bits

I ordered it! I went for the Joolz Geo in elephant grey Grin we loved it in mothercare but saw it online today for £629!! Couldn't resist! I'm really excited now x

We bought ours at around 20 weeks. We saw a super deal on Ebay. Ex display Emmaljunga Viking for £290.

As I was keeping an eye on EBay prams I knew this is the deal I won't find again soon and we went for it.
I'm not very superstitious and the pram is in our living room. I never knew it was bad luck before reading this tonight.

I'm 18weeks & bought ours three weeks ago... it will store at my mums until I'm 38 weeks 😗

Just buy it.

We picked our pram quite early but decided not to buy until I was further along.

Went to buy at 34 weeks and the colour we picked was discontinued Confused

Ensuing mad search around the whole country then getting one shipped from miles away was not what I needed heavily pregnant.

Disclaimer: I could probably have got another colour but in my hormonal state I insisted on that colour

I've just bought mine and im only 13 weeks but it was too good to miss out on! Just go for it.

I bought mine at 5 weeks. Purely because our mothercare is closing down and it had £300 off it for bring ex-display with absolutely not a fucking speck of anything on it. The only mark was three tiny tiny holes under a fold of material where the tags had been in. It was the pram I loved anyway so I just thought fuck it!

My cousin bought her pram at 17 weeks with her second, she didn't have it in the house but she still bought it. Go for it x

Where did you find it for £629?! I ordered it last night at £699 from the Joolz website as it's £100 off.

I'd suggest anyone thinking of making a major online purchase from some of these shops look at their customer service reviews...
