Scan tomorrow and can't sleep

I had an early scan last week, no heartbeat seen but put down to being too early, dates put back a week, and a follow up booked for a weeks time (today). I had a bleed over the weekend that makes me strongly suspect I've had a miscarriage (I have a strong history of them and have had 4 already) so I'm expecting bad news tomorrow. My husband is being irritatingly optimistic and it's now got me not sleeping.

I don't know why I'm posting this I guess to just get it out.

Yes she does which makes it worse. It is a kick in the gut. We have had multiple losses over several years and it's been a bloody hard slog for us which is why the wait is so horrible at the moment.

It's a morning appointment at least so if it's bad news I can come straight home and sulk.

Omg I'm so tired. 2 hours sleep if That! Between needing to pee every 5 minutes and being terrified of today I'm shattered.

I'm a weird believer in dogs knowing you're pregnant Smile my dog has been so soppy with me since I was pregnant! Fingers crossed for you x

Confirmed what I already knew. No heartbeat. Sac starting to deform in shape. Hadn't grown really since the last scan.

Going to have surgery to remove it as they're offering genetic testing. Just hope it now stays put until Friday.

As a side note, a very good friend had 5 mcs in a row- no reason found- then went on to have three healthy pregnancies in a row. Don't lose hope x

Play I'm so sorry to hear this, I was on the Oct bus with you (have name changed since) and am going through the same thing. I have a scan to confirm tomorrow, but it's just a formality as I'd had a scan in France (no hb and measuring 6 weeks, I should be nearly 12) and no growth since then. I have surgery booked on weds.
