Scan tomorrow and can't sleep

I had an early scan last week, no heartbeat seen but put down to being too early, dates put back a week, and a follow up booked for a weeks time (today). I had a bleed over the weekend that makes me strongly suspect I've had a miscarriage (I have a strong history of them and have had 4 already) so I'm expecting bad news tomorrow. My husband is being irritatingly optimistic and it's now got me not sleeping.

I don't know why I'm posting this I guess to just get it out.

Hiya,

Trying not to think about things tbh as my pregnancy symptoms have stopped and I've got another week to wait until my next scan.

How are you getting on?

Ah, sorry. Hope me dragging up your post today didn't make things harder when you're trying not to focus on things. As an aside, I had days where all my symptoms seemed to subside for 2-3 days. I've had severe sickness but it just went, boobs stopped hurting, I was convinced something was wrong. But then a few days later, I started throwing up like nothing on earth again and my boobs felt soooo sore. So I've basically learned that pregnancy symptoms (presence or lack of) can be totally misleading. So try not to be too worried about them subsiding, it might be nothing and they might be back with a vengeance in a few days. Hope the next week isn't too difficult, please come back and let us know how you get on Smile

To second Lemon above, between 6-8 weeks I had no symptoms and was seriously worried. Everything turned out okay.

I'm getting really anxious and wish it was Monday already. Ive started growing a bump which means nothing because I did with my miscarriages. Wish I could hide it and hide away now Sad

How many weeks are you now?

I have another scan on Wednesday and will be 7 weeks at that point if all is still ok.

God knows. Somewhere between 7 and 9 I think. My dates and the scan dates and their dates don't match!! I'm hoping now it should be a bit bigger it'll be measurable!!

Tomorrow is d day. My best friend has just sent me a picture of her 12 week scan on I assume a generic text announcing their news and wishing themselves a happy mothers day. I hope to God we get good news tomorrow as I don't think I can cope with her tracking her pregnancy so vocally Sad

I totally understand how you feel, I had two mcs last year,I'm now pregnant again (5 weeks today) and when I had my scan yesterday nothing could be seen other than thickened lining :( hope it all goes ok for you tomorrow xxx

I'm keeping everything crossed for you OP.

If it isn't good news, consider asking your doctor about progesterone supplements. I really had to fight to get mine but I'm convinced they're the only reason I have a healthy DD upstairs after multiple miscarriages. Thinking of you x

Thank you everyone your support means a lot.

I'm on progesterone and aspirin already and I think the only reason I'm feeling any symptoms (tired and headachey) is because of the progesterone not the pregnancy. Will find out tomorrow

Does you friend know what last happening with you? quitr insensitive behaviour on her part, if she does.

It is hard to cope with other people's pregnancies when you're having a rough ride yourself. It took me sometime to get pregnant and every announcement (while happy for my friends and family) was also a bit of a kick in the gut. When I finally did get pregnant, I found it very hard to break to my friend who is embarking on IVF.

What time is your appointment tomorrow? I hope it's in the morning.
